Good morning Jim and menuers,

Good luck in traffic. Feel you there. I'm in the office today and there are all of two other people here...but guess I'm making my three days. I'll drive home at lunch since I put in an appearance.

QOTD- I have all the leaves. The landscaping company I use have been through twice but think I'm going to maintain until the rest are down. Was evaluating last night and I'm not sure whether the ones who are holding leaves now might not have survived the summer. Since moving, I pay a company to come do a fall yard cleanup. I could rake for weeks and not be done. Even my backpack blower takes a week with one inexperienced person, which is me.

I appear to be going through a period of extreme head hunger issues. It's a bit of a bear and I'm trying to figure out where it's coming from. Until then...coping mechanisms. If I have to brush my teeth as soon as I get home, so be it.

Storms coming in tomorrow. I still choose to be happy for the rain. There's been enough the last couple of weeks to barely rekindle the creeks.

Exercise - elliptical after work. Could not get out of bed this morning.

Accountability- honestly, not good. Trying to drink more water instead. Would rather just move forward. No excuses (cough).

Paneer korma with only veggies. No starch shall grace my plate

Water, water everywhere. Already at 44 ounces for the day. Cheers.

Maybe one or two times a year I treat myself to Red Lobster steak and lobster special. Sometimes with a friend and sometimes with home delivery.

Last night I ordered and DoorDash driver took it to my old house by mistake. They had to remake it and deliver it to my new address. I hope the person who bought my house was home and that they like steak and lobster because it was left sitting on their porch.

I am going over there this weekend to pick up some things I forgot and bring back some things that should have stayed at the house and the movers packed and took here. I don't have their number or would have called.

Late post for me; work for in the way this morning!

qotd - my maple is completely bare, the pear and the lilac are still green and shiny, the dogwood is about half and half.

menu today is coffee with half and half X 2; leftover over smoked turkey for breakfast; bbq for lunch (I think I'm going with the cheddar sausage but might switch to brisket or ham), and unsure on dinner. Also taking one of my colleagues for a drink tonight, so will have a glass of wine. giving myself an exercise rest day.

Happy Pre-Friday,

Jim-I feel for you on that early flight. I had a 5 am flight to Mexico last week, which meant a 2 am wake-up call. Funny we got to the airport by 3:30 am then found out that the parking shuttle and security did not open until 4 am! I guess I should have looked into that but assumed that since instructions said to arrive 2 hours early everything would be open. Sounds like you have a nice weekend ahead of you. I hope you have a wonderful time with your friend and the game.

I did get my 2 different yoga classes in yesterday. It wasn't too bad energy wise, but I need to work on maintaining my hydration since I was pretty darn sweaty after 2 hours of hot yoga. Today, just one class. As I still need to make up 3 more classes in order to get my 30 yoga/Pilates classes in 30 days I will do a 2-class split workout tomorrow (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). I actually prefer this since there is a 30-minute lag time between classes and I am not a patient waiting for the next class person.

QOTD: We still lots of leaves on the trees, probably 60% remain. I was thinking that we need to pick up the leaves we have on the lawn for my compost bin. We like to employ the mower method for picking up leaves if not too many on the grass (mow the leaves up). Clean-up also requires blowing out the rock beds which I detest since we have smaller rocks in the back yard that inevitably get blown onto the lawn with the leaves. The things you don't think about when you plan the yard design...

Hi Menuers!

Though its Friday morning I just had to take the opportunity to finally say Hi to y'all !

Yesterday was super exciting- spoke with the contact person at the bank ( he called ME ! ) and given a tax breakdown by the closing date and proof of the fact that 41,000 of the back taxes they owe are already in the escrow account things are looking Amazingly Good !!!! Im just praying Praying and more praying ... every time i remember .
It truly would be a miracle if it works - and will get SO much stress off me finally ...

food was pretty good - and completed PT

b- fluffy eggs fat free w ff refried beans n ff cheese

s- aldis strudel one large piece ff sf coffee

s- two pieces hersheys before PT gave rest of giant bag away

d- tashkent buffet - shrimp lamb kebobs cabbage and potato n beet salad

2 small cans red wine ( headache this morning) . I look so much better not drinking ... have so much more energy i do not want to slide back into that habit of empty calories and excuses to not exercise.

i NEED exercise if im not drinking... to decompress, gather my thoughts and enjoy the amazing beauty and changing weather . And it makes my my clothes fit a lot better too !
