What's on your Monday Menu?

Happy Monday, Gang! Hope you all had a great weekend! I like my new classes so far and gt a lot done. We also visited with a friend yesterday at her house in the city yesterday which was nice. Nothing exciting today--school school school until the kids start coming by for candy!
QOTD: What is the plan for Halloween today? We have a very busy neighborhood with tons of kiddos and we will get a billion kids, which I love. We will put on a Halloween movie and then proceeded to get interrupted a million times, but I love it!
Accountability was great of Fri and Sat but way off from my goals yesterday :(
B: Egg Bites
L: Chicken Tacos (no shell)
D: Fish Tacos (no shell)
Exercise: I did my usual wog on the treadmill before I posted. I have a lot of reading to do today so I might try to do it on the recumbent bike.

Good morning QJB and menuers,
Woo! Monday! Glad you had a good weekend and like your classes.
QOTD - I will drive home this afternoon, continue unpacking and straighten up, and hopefully get some laundry done. I would be worried if any kid showed up out here. If it somehow happens the only candy in my house is half a bag of 82% dark Dove promises. Don't think most kids have acquired that taste yet.
Today is an office day. Trying to get amped up to go in. Only a few meetings since I blocked a lot of time to catch up on the hundreds of emails. I do have an urgent meeting at 8 and need to prep for that.
The scale says I'm up almost 7 pounds, which is better than what it said last night. I know this isn't real gain since it's a well-established pattern when I travel. It will take maybe a week for the swelling and retention to let go. My legs look pretty bad. Lower legs swollen and my feet were a bit discolored this morning. Don't get me wrong, I ate some things outside of the manual's menu options but I didn't eat around my tool. It was either a few bites or separate meals through the day. I'm still struggling with enjoying a lot of foods, which I assume is normal for where I'm at.
I did get up and exercise this morning. I was stiff and am sore from the week but so glad it got done! Time to feed the dogs and head out.
Menu
Bit up in the air. More focus on hydrating today. Probably as close to the following as I can get:
Protein bar
Quest chili chips
Chicken breast, whatever veggie side is available in the work café
Yogurt or cottage cheese, seaweed
Maybe porq rinds. Need to see how much protein all the other stuff adds up to
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Sadly, I never didn't enjoy food. Even when it was only a bit here and a bit there, I enjoyed it tremendously (and still do).

G'morning all!
I am back and I missed you! Tell me everything I missed in the last two weeks.
My trip was good in all aspects; logged in a lot of time with my mom, visited plenty of times to get my fill with my little baby niece, had a couple of outings one on one with my brother so that we could talk freely and take the pulse of the family, day trips to the country, shopping trips for some retail therapy, exercised moderately (10K walk 3 times a week, band workouts 2 times a week) and ate with my pouch in mind (had pasta only once during the whole 2 weeks trip). In full confession though I also had plenty of chocolates.
My weight the day I left was 146.6 and on Sun was 144.2, so I think it's all portion related because I sure don't eat this much chocolate on a regular. Goal is to get it down to 142 by the holidays but I'm not stressing. The biggest NSV while in Italy was that everybody asked me if I had lost more weight since last October when they saw me last. I had to check on MFP and the weight was the same (up and down a lb) but I seemed smaller to everybody. I give all the credit to my trainer and weight training. I think I look more compact than last year and I'm all for it.
I am also confessing that today, Oct 31, is my eating day. I usually eat more chocolate/candies than I would eat food on thanksgiving. I need to be mindful for dumping but after 5 years I think I learned how to graze on chocolate. Not recommending this to anybody but I choose my evil and it's chocolate. So no menu for me but tomorrow morning I'm back on the plan.
QOTD: same plan as you QJB. Tons of kids at the door and I'm giddy to see all the costumes.
Happy Halloween, y'all!

I am glad your trip was fun and yay for coming home lighter than you left; that is a feat!! It just drives home for me that our American eyes cannot measure correctly and I need to keep the weighing discipline!

Wow, so impressed with the fact the scale looks so good. I am so glad everyone noticed all the effort you put into the gym. You're killing it. Congratulations and welcome back.
