What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
We can't match that, but it was over 100 last year.

Mornin' All!
I went on a 23-mile bike ride yesterday and my back was killing me around 4:00 am. I was surprised because I've ridden that far before (and longer, too), but evidently it's been awhile. Biofreeze and Tylenol took care of it. I'd been thinking about going to water aerobics this morning, but i may skip it. At least I burned up 900 kcal (according to MFP) or 1200 kcal (according to Fitbit). I ate back some of that, but not anywhere close to all. I love having huge deficit days! Makes up for some of the "bad" ones.
I have to take my mom to the dentist later this morning, and then I'm taking both her and my MIL to another retirement community this afternoon for a tour. I need to schedule more of these. My mother said the place we went to last week didn't have enough windows in the hallways, and she's going to balk at the cost of the one we're going to today (which is probably the nicest place in town - but yes, pricey). But we'll keep at it. Hopefully something will fit her bill.
tomorrow is my mother's birthday so I have to stay in town. I'm meeting up with three cousins in Chicago this weekend, but that'll be Sunday since I can't get down there tomorrow. I'll either drive down and back in one day, or spend the night Sunday and come back Monday morning.
QOTD: It depends on who it is and what they did. I can be pretty forgiving, but let's just say I wouldn't be visiting, calling, writing, or embracing someone's family if he killed my kid.
B: cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with fruit. Coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: I'm guessing I'll go somewhere with my mother since lunch time falls between the dentist appt and the retirement center tour. Last time we went to an authentic taqueria and I got a street taco. Maybe she'll be up for that again. If not, something else that's "safe".
AS: protein muffin
D: a friend from my WLS program (I used to co-present with her for a couple of years for the pre-op classes) said she often stir fries bulk sausage with a bunch of vegetables, some pre-made cole slaw, and various seasonings (e.g., Chinese seasonings like ginger and soy sauce or sometimes curry) when she doesn't feel like cooking much else. It sometimes lasts her all weekend. I may do that. There's an Italian deli in town that makes turkey and chicken sausage (in addition to pork) - i may go over there today and pick some up and make that. Sounds easy and pretty healthy. Plus I can use up some of my aging vegetables that way
have a great day, everyone!

I've seen that (or something close to it) called egg roll in a bowl. I've never tried it but it seems like it could be very versatile, especially if you change up the veggies like you say!

Good Morning QJB and Menuers,
Great Photos QJB and I am cheering you on for the commitments you made yesterday. I need to do the same. I keep saying I am going to do it and fall short. I am still well in the range of losing the 80% of the excess weight I was promised I just love seeing those really low numbers on the scale. Why the 30lbs is bothering me so much I have no idea. At the funeral home I ran into more than a few people I have not seen in years, and they were very complementary on my success so I should just deal with it, but that number gets me every time I look at the scale. Plus, I know working out 2x a week is not going to keep me here much longer.
I get my new TV today. It took four weeks. I am having it installed today. Do you know how hard it is watching a 30" TV after your used to and 83"? Today come the 85" I am pretty excited for the Steeler game on Sunday even though there is little hope for a win. We're playing undefeated Philadelphia.
QOTD: Mathew 18:21-22. I so struggle with this. I wish I could do it, but The Italian Bull Head of mind doesn't let me handle this very easily.
Accountability: I did not eat any baked good from the sale, but I grazed dinner again.
