What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Hello Everyone!
Today is my first day of the new semester! I am excited to learn what is next. This semester's accelerated classes are in Management Information Systems and Organizational Behavior & Development. Gotta make this quick so that I can get to it!
Pics are from my fall walk yesterday to a nearby State Park with a mansion gardens on the property. It was definitely past peak for leaf peepin' but it was a beautiful day to be walking around. I also started working on some pumpkin pie cookies, which I hope will be a good seller at Thanksgiving this year :)
QOTD: Could your forgive and completely love someone who wronged you in the past? I like to think I could, but TBH I am still holding grudges against people who pissed me off in kindergarten, so... probably not! But I have been listening to a podcast about a family who have COMPLETELY forgiven the man who murdered their son. The guy is still in jail but they visit and call him and write letters whenever they can and they have basically adopted the guy's extended family and love them like their own. Its really remarkable. I can't imagine.
Yesterday was on plan with food and exercise. I already did another 1 mile WOG on the treadmill this morning before posting and I hope to get out for a neighborhood walk later this afternoon for a break.

Good morning QJB and menuers,
Congrats on movement and starting new classes! You've got this. Nice pictures. :)
QOTD- Depends what it is. There are some things in my past I haven't been able to let go of. Other things...we're all humans doing the best we can.
I'm learning that carbs make me extremely gassy. Honestly, I'm kind of glad for it since it will help keep empty calories out of my diet. I learned by eating part of a wrap with my turkey, bacon and cheese thingy.
Pushing to Georgia this morning, so about to run after this first leg. Bit of a photo dump from the trip.

Niagra Falls is my Happy Place. Been there so many times I got frequent flyer miles on the Maid of the Mist. Even if I am heading to Toronto I stop and ride the Maid before I go any further. I love it especially in the fall. I have also taken a trip to see it frozen one time. The way they light it for the Holiday season is remarkable. You should have drove through Pittsburgh on your way North so we could have met up. Maybe next time.

Oh! I didn't know that's where you were. I came close to Pittsburgh and stopped in Wexford because pierogi. Passing in the night and didn't even know it! Maybe next time for sure. If you like pierogi, the ones at Forgotten Taste Pierogi were great. :)

Gorgeous pictures QJB! Will the pumpkin pie cookies (which look amazing!) also be pumpkin pie spiced or are they sugar cookies?
QOTD - interesting question, I think there are various levels of forgive...I don't hold grudges on my behalf but very much do on behalf of people I care about. Even within that there are gradients, there's no value in taking a "dead to me" approach to my sister's ex for example because it only makes the kids uncomfortable so I'm formally polite. Otherwise if they are not important, I put them out of my mind and never engage so it's more of a dismissive approach than an active not forgiving.
I am cleared from PT and my range of motion tests showed huge improvement - as much as if I'd never had any damage at all so that's very exciting!
I didn't make it to the museum last week, they sent out an alert reminding people that the race for the cure events would hav downtown all messy so I'm going tomorrow morning and then I have a bunch to do around the house. November through December is crazy busy for me so will have to enjoy a relatively low key weekend while I can! Plus if I'm going to finish this HIIT/Core rowing segment, I have to do it every day through Monday so that will be some good movement on top of the house stuff!
My pictures today are from my backyard at the beginning of yesterday's first snow of the season!
menu today is completely up in the air, I'm out of all my prepped food so we will see what I grab out of the freezer.
Have a wonderful Friday and weekend everyone!
