Hello Menu Friends,

QJB-it sounds like you are enjoying your time off. I forgot to congratulate you on your ending semester (and paper) grades. Way to go! I do think that "older" college students do try harder for good grades. I expected to get an A on all of my assignments. I also think that work and life experiences allow us to think broader.

Yesterday was another relaxing day at home. I did a lot of minor chores, did most of my packing for the Mexico trip, and got in a good hard Pilates workout. My rottweiler vomited on the carpet under the bed, then my Roomba went right through the yuck. So, I ended up spending too much time cleaning the Roomba. This required taking apart the washable pieces and fine cleaning the unwashable pieces. Dumb dog! She seems to have a sensitive tummy, not really sure what is going on with her, but she seems to be doing this more often. She had a piece of wood she liked to chew on (versus the furniture) that I decided may cause her problems, so I threw that away. We also were giving her an anti-inflammatory for her torn ACL, so also stopped that thinking it may be giving her some tummy issues. If the vomiting doesn't clear up, she will need a trip to the vet.

Tomorrow, the plane for Mexico leaves at 5am. What was I thinking when I booked this flight?? So not looking forward to the early morning but I am looking forward to some beach and relaxation time. Today the Burn for the Bird at yoga starts (30 classes in 30 days), to make up for missing 5 days I am doing 2 classes today. Therefore, I will need to make up 4 classes over the remaining days.

QOTD: I do like leather furniture. I definitely think that the quality of leather makes a difference in the comfort and warmth of the leather. We have 2 recliners in our family room that are of lesser quality of leather that feel "cold" when you initially sit on them. However, our upstairs leather chairs are warm and comfy. I like how the leather can be wiped clean if anything is spilled, dogs prints and hair, etc. Plus, the look is richer.

Accountability: popcorn, need I say more...

L: Apple, blueberry, raspberry, lettuce, chicken breast salad with light poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty

D: Chicken asian salad with light sesame ginger dressing

Wow that is an early flight, but that means you'll have more time at your destination.

Just think...early flights mean less time to wait on line through security. And you get to the beach faster! Hope you have an amazing trip. And sorry about the dog/Roomba combo. Hasn't happened yet but it's probably a matter of time.
