I bet boxing after work is a great way to blow off steam! Whereas elliptical is just an exercise in making it through. I applaud your exercise routine!

hi all

quick for me this morning. trying to catch up on a zillion things at work. but i think only 1 real meeting today.

QOTD: i do but i'm picky. i don't want faux or vinyl. vinyl is sticky when you sweat or sit too long. i loved my old set which we purchased second hand but it was bernhard down sofa so it was amazing. one of the 4 legged children got a treat caught on a cushion and started digging on the chenille type fabric. so then we turned over the cushion and had to eventually replace it. i still miss that one. the new one is still the same brand but more open weave fabric and the dogs nick it with their nails. i don't think leather would be an improvement in this particular situation with them...

food today:

coffee coffee water (i got all 64 oz plain water in yesterday which was a huge deal)

flat wrap cheese

lunch: leftover veggies/some type of meat

dinner either chicken pot pie OR ham and mashed pot for DH OR breakfast with thick bacon

Good mornin everyone!

yay for new furniture! We need a new couch badly but since it's the dogs couch there is no point. We have a loveseat downstairs that I'd like to bring up but we'd have to remove steps for it to fit up here again.

No plans for the day. I'm trying something that requires me to have to stay home until my pain pump trial Thursday. It's an embarrassment so I won't go into detail!

I'll probably be chainmailling today.

QOTD: I hate it. It's so hot here in the summer that you stick to it...I don't like peeling myself off of furniture. PLUS out cats would likely destroy it.

B: leftover pizza slice & coffee

L: JUST egg bowl

D: ???

S: GF pumpkin bread, popcorn and ???

Good morning QJB and menuers,

I'm doing a throwback day in New York today and am waiting a few minutes for a park by Oneida Lake to open.

QOTD - Nooo! And yesterday's is that I've worn glasses since I was 7. Think my prescription is about 7.25? Don't need them to read but need them to survive.

So I've adapted my travel eating plan and am taking a tip from you all. I've upped the fat content in my food in an attempt to rescue my intestines. Did not bring Miralax with me. It'll work out. I've got to say, this setup I'm testing in my car is pretty awesome. I can lay all the way out and that's really nice. I'll be heading out to the house where I grew up and then pop down to Binghamton where my grandparents lived.

Maybe spiedies because they're a very local dish I haven't had in decades. Menu says you can get them served on salad, so yay.

I did sacrifice my guts yesterday and ordered a Taco Bell power bowl for dinner. Some chicken, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and a bit of sour cream and guacamole. Ignored the rice and beans. Worked like a charm!

Accountability- hmm. The grains of rice I couldn't scrape off the stuff in the bowl. One bite of black beans. Pretty good, really!

Menu

Pure protein bar

Deconstructed breakfast burrito with the potatoes picked out.

Maybe spiedies. Or maybe scallops at a local place.

Stuff from my grab and go.

Having a grand old time tooling around. Seems warm for late October. Sorry for the poor and runs this week! Cheers, everyone.

I had to look up spiedies. Those seem like they would work well into your program minus the bun. make them into a salad would be yummy. I am glad you are having a great time and your car is working well for sleeping. Where do you shower, etc?

Yep! Never thought of them as a hyper local dish because we had them when I was a kid. I did get them on a Greek type salad with no dressing. Got the small and finished about half. Waiting to digest a bit now before visiting my grandparent's old house.

Mostly clean up at truck stops such as Love's, Pilot, Flying J, TA, etc. Most have showers and you can buy one for anywhere from $8-$15. I highly recommend flip flops and aim for the dead hours between 2-5am. :) I've also found and stayed at some great local places, since for me finding them is part of the experience. They don't react at all to trucking in a bag with supplies.

Binghamton was a 2nd home for me as a kid. My cousins lived there and we visited a lot. Spiedies are life!

Good morning ~ I love furniture shopping, any shopping really, lol. Enjoy your new couch! Yesterday was such a long day starting at 4 am and I don't know that I stopped moving until 9 pm. I am both energized and exhausted! My hips that are basically always bothering me are feeling better with all the recent activity. I want to get back to swimming and as luck would have it, my sister is having a swim spa installed any day now. I can't wait to try it out. Anyway, today is a rest day for me. I have 2 budget training meetings and work training in between - another crazy day. I may joke about spreadsheets, but I really do love them. My co-worker is an excel short cut savant and I am learning so many cool things - good times.

QOTD - I do like leather in the heat or with heavy shedding pets. But really prefer soft comfy fabric.

Yesterday:

b: coffee HB eggs

l- chicken skewers, side salad

d- my chicken and dumplings - mostly stew, one small dumpling

+3 SF Russell Stover's thin mints - ugh, why???

e - logged 70 active minutes all on the treadmill watching the finale of House of the Dragon.

Have a wonderful day!!
