Jim-are you diabetic? or are you testing your blood sugars for sports related nutrition? Just curious. DH and DS have a window to get food (protein) post workout, carbs pre-workout, etc....DS gets a bit fanatical about it since he feels that if he doesn't hit the window he wasted his time at the gym.

Tell Marilyn I approve of the Bronco. Even if it's a Ford and not Orange. I hope she loves it.

Good morning QJB and menuers,

Congratulations on your paper! I bet that was a load off.

So I had an adventure this morning. After taking a crash nap behind an Irving/Circle K, I hit the road at maybe 3am. And then both my low beams went out simultaneously. Traveling in moose country with no headlights isn't really advised. But, my high beams worked...

It became an exercise in creative driving where I cycled between daytime running lights and high beams when there was oncoming traffi****il I could get to a gas station that was opening soon. There's not much out here when it comes to places to stop. Even fewer that are open and have bathrooms. Probably made a lot of people cranky...sorry...

Yanked both bulbs and definitely blown. $50 fix at the auto parts store and they even had gloves so I was sure not to touch the new ones. They were also kind enough to open the package so I didn't have to resort to chewing on it. And even though it was 7am in the dark, people stopped to ask if I was okay. Oh, and it was raining. Because of course it was. Whoever designed Prius light bulb placement has tiny hands or double joints, neither of which I possess. Good times.

In other news, I found the giant clam. And I got clams. And a crab cake. And then I ate clams for hours until I realized I didn't like how it was making me feel and tossed the rest. They were amazing at the start, though! I went northeast in Maine until there was no more east to go and my cell phone reminded me about international plans in Canada. Then there was a nice lighthouse.

Also got my one hot, fresh apple cider donut today and split it with the dogs. Meandering around in Vermont buying birthday gifts for my mom before heading south for cheese and then west. Found a nice covered bridge. It's been fun.

Accountability yesterday and today so far - fried clams. And crab cake. And most of a donut and three bites of homemade English muffin today. Hopefully back on the only veggie carbs thing for the rest of the week. Don't want the slippery slope of empty, addictive slider carbs! Especially because they're delicious. Darn it. Also didn't use my cpap last night for the first time since losing headlights was the priority to address.

Menu -

Apple cider donut, about half a Vermonter sandwich insides with a bit of English muffin.

Quest bar, protein chips, grab and go bag stuff.

Cheers, everyone!

I never did get my light bulb in correctly, I finally had to go to the oil change place to have it done. The one side is OK, it's the other side you either have to be a contortionist or have the tiniest hands to change them out. Mines a 2010 Prius.

Ooh, I feel that! Mine is a 2012. And yep, the passenger side! Took me a good 10 minutes. Strangely, I was eventually able to get it in by keeping the wire unplugged until it was in. And I was never ever able to do it before losing weight. Another NSV, maybe?

Still love the car, though!

Good Morning QJB and Menuers,

This is the start of Hell week for me. I am doing the job of 2 for the next 6 workdays so if I am sparse do not worry, I am just bogged down.

Well, I was not a big fan of the Drag Queen Bingo. I thought it would be in better taste, but it was very raunchy and vulgar. Just so glad Ron put his foot down and said no way was he going. One actually after being tipped by my friends to dance on me whispered in my ear, "You're not a pretty as you think you are." Well, that is a great thing to say to someone that suffers from body dysmorphia. They were pretty much a hot mess and the longer the night went on and the more drugs and drinks that went in them the worse it got. It did support the kids of the organization. This will not be anything I will ever do again.

QOTD: Terrible. I get a new script every year.

Accountability: I replaced Protein with carbs all weekend. Carb hangovers are real. No alcohol but body was still screaming.

TSS: 4 years 10 months 13 days 159.8 LBS, (Lowest 129.4)

B: Coffee with Coffee Mate SF pumpkin spice creamer

MS: Oikos tripe zero salted caramel Greek yogurt. Apples and pears

CB: Coffee with Coffee Mate SF pumpkin spice creamer

L: chili and snack select

D: crock pot pizza

Exercise: nope digestion is off again. let's just say I spent that hour in the bathroom.

Water & vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use Miralax and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great weekend my friends.

Brightest Blessings.

Chrissy
