As a nurse, I also found the 24-hour urines a PITA. I would think that at home it would restrict your activities since you cant potty elsewhere.

it does...you really have to pick a 24-hour period when you don't have to go anywhere. I don't have a days like that...

Its Thursday! One more day until the weekend...

QJB-Great news on getting your paper done and it being your best work. Uh oh, on missing the deadline for turning it in. Most instructors accept late work but apply a penalty. Hopefully, s/he will accept your paper without a penalty assigned. When I was in grad school, we occasionally would be broken into pre-assigned groups to work in. I remember I turned in a group assignment that I thought, after the fact, that I had turned in incorrectly. I was so stressed since it would have negatively affected the other people in my group. Luckily, not sure how, I did turn it in correctly. But before I knew that I was apologizing the everyone and trying to take the full blame with the instructor. Such a relief when it all worked out. I am hoping your situation works out in your favor also. Have fun with the cookies and Eddie.

How many other people do the online shopping for groceries? I have only done it a couple of times. While it does seem convenient in theory (and maybe it does become easier if you repeatedly buy the same items) it always takes me a long time to find the items I want online. Then when I pick-up there are usually items that didnt get purchased. Last time I selected that I didnt want them to make substitutions thinking they would call me. Nope, they just didnt get me the items I wanted or called for clarifications. I ended up having to run into the store to get the rest of the groceries I needed. I also dont trust them to pick good produce. I inspect the produce to make sure that it is not wilty or has mold (berries especially) or bruised.

QOTD: I do get my post-op blood work. At this point it is annual. I am also getting a follow-up CT Scan this week. The last one after my last surgery (gallbladder and umbilical hernia) had showed some inflammation near the roux limb. But it was also noted on the previous CT Scan when the internal hernia was found. I dont have any pain or discomfort so hopefully it has resolved on its own.

Accountability: Good. Nothing to report

B: triple zero greek yogurt with keto granola, blueberries, cold brew with half n half

L: Summer salad with chicken, light poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty

D: Asian chicken salad with ginger sesame dressing

S: 4 squares sf chocolate, protein frosty

E: 60 min hot yoga.

Have a wonderful day.

Happy good Morning! The plan was to roll out of bed and take a walk to stretch out before getting in the car for the 5+ hour drive to Vegas. But after yesterday's stair climb, which I obviously (though just barely) survived, my legs are no joke killing me. Difficult time staying asleep. I'm taking a rest day and then just doing walks in Vegas. Or maybe I'll get me kid to give me a good work out in his home gym. He's a work out fiend. I signed up for an actual work out class starting Monday at 6:30 in the morning. Once a week. I think I am excited about that, but shall update you next Tuesday.

I'm packed and ready to go. we leave in about 45 minutes. We have no time requirements today so we are not in any hurry.

QotD: I'm waiting on my doc to call today for my 3rd (THIRD ALREADY!) annual appointment. I am down to once a year labs and they look pretty good to me. I do wonder what she will say about my weight since I am a solid 5 pounds heavier than our last conversation. But no amount of limiting calories or increasing exercise seems to push below 118, so I'm trying to own that number and work on strength and health.

Menu is up in the air. I will be having cottage cheese and some meat just before we leave and have a jerky stick and whisps packed for my lunch. Rog will have a fast food burger somewhere. But meals with the kid in Vegas are always an event and I'm looking forward to something yummy!

Peace Everybody and GO PADRES!

I bet they don't say anything about the 5 pounds. Small but mighty, like your grand girls, should be the goal.

Have a great trip to Vegas. There are plenty of walking opportunities in that town! Do you go to the casinos while you are there? BTW, your weight is still awesome. I bet they dont say anything at your upcoming appointment.

they won't care about the five pounds. You've already lost way more than the statistical average. I seem to be a couple pounds heavier every year, and they've never said anything about it. In fact, they think I'm obsessing when I say something about it..
