Good morning, everybody!

Unfortunately, we don't have the Bronco today. We went to look at the ones in stock and they were all stripped down models with cloth seats, small screens, etc. They had a chili pepper red two door and I thought of Sheila when I saw it. Marilyn did get word that her car had been built and would be shipping within the next two weeks.

Her plan is that unless something loaded comes in during the next two weeks that she will take the two door and drive it for a year while they build her the car she actually ordered.

We had brought out a special bottle of wine to celebrate the new car. We drank that at happy hour anyways. Trading down to a house wine didn't seem appropriate once the Spring Mountain was in queue.

The fish tacos were really good, we will have the remainder tonight.

I'm in the office today. Hoping to remain fully clothed for the duration of the drive. Tonight we are doing a Hero WOD called Jo****'s Overhead Squats and pull-ups. Definitely that will be the best hour of my day, and something to look forward to while I sit in traffic today. I wish that I could stay home and do it at 11:00.

QOTD: For the 13 vial test, I go once a year. My vitamin levels have been trending too high if anything and they have been cutting me back on some things. My endocrinologist probably does the one page CBC 2-3 times a year.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Salad

Dinner: Fish tacos

Have a great day, all!

13 vials!? And I thought 8 was a lot. That's what my clinic has been doing. So much rehydrating.

You may get that when you move to once a year.

Such a bummer on the Bronco screw-up. At least she will be getting the incorrectly ordered Bronco soon. Maybe she will end up liking it and a 2 door may work out ok now that you two are empty nesters. Have a great workout, sounds challenging. I also look forward to my hard workouts. It feels so good to expend the energy from sitting at a desk all day at work.

Good morning ~ Hopefully your professor is good to you and you get a nice rest day with extra naps! Yesterday was a busy blur and today will be also. Training and meetings then I have a hair appt after work - just gloss and go- not a 3 hour appt thankfully. I cannot wait for the weekend!! I have a planned hike with my son that I'm excited about and some other fun things too.

QOTD - Annually. My PCP is switching to exclusive concierge service that is $2000 a year per patient as of November. Time to find a new PCP and that sucks.

Yesterday:

b- coffee, TJ's eggwich

L- snacked on carrots and hummus

d -left over chili

e - no intentional walking or exercise but I logged 11 active minutes

+ 1 very big glass of wine - but no snacks!

Have a great day!

Oh, I really dislike trying to find a new PCP. I have been seeing concierge medicine cropping up more frequently. I wonder does the $2000/year cover all visits for the year? I have not gotten any hikes in yet this fall. I need to plan some with DD.

I'm not sure, I don't fully understand the service, but considering both of us only see him once a year usually - sometimes twice it's hardly worth it. I assume that is on top of medical insurance but I don't know.

especially when almost no one is taking new patients. WTH??? We're trying to find one for my MIL because now she doesn't like her current PCP. I can't find anyone in her network, so we'll look at others. There are PAs and APNPs who are taking new patients, but given her age and health status, I think she'd be better off with an MD (I have no issue with PAs and APNPS as PCPs, and if I were in my 20s or 30s and healthy, I would be fine with one as my PCP, but at her age and with some serious medical conditions, she (and I) would both feel more comfortable with a physician. I know there's a huge shortage of primary care physicians, but I figured we'd be OK in this city. Nope - evidently not...
