Same, Snoopy...same.

Yo Gang, Happy Hump Day! I had to look at my computer to find out what day it was. I had no idea. This has been a weird week.

Yesterday after I finished my post here at 5:30am, I took my coffee to my office and started in on the dreaded paper. I was still in my PJs having forgotten to eat all day when Grim came to wrestle me away at 3:30pm. The damn thing is 18 pages so far and I am not done. He only asked for 5-7. Am I doing this all wrong? I have no idea... I will try to edit the sucker today and make it more manageable. Last paper for this semester and then I start all over again with 2 more next Friday.

But in more fun news, I am having a great time playing with Eddie! He made me this logo cookie last night and the possibilities are endless!

Oh one more funny pic! My friend's daughter has Down Syndrome and she posted her daughter's classwork yesterday. I had to laugh! Same, Emma...same.

I came so close to reaching for a glass of wine last night. I did not. Maybe when (if?) I finish the paper.

QOTD: Do you use your time wisely? I think that I do. Most people who know me say they think I have more hours in my day than they have in theirs, so I at least seem productive to others! But days like yesterday go by and I can't believe it. I thought I would have so much time to relax and watch tv and go for walks this year but damn...school & a new business take a lot of time!

Good mornin JB! Eddie and yours work is going to be amazing! Your work already is but I feel this will really expand your horizon!

My stomach is not feeling well. I'm not sure what it is but it started yesterday afternoon. If I'm not feeling marketably better by 8 I'll need to call in on my PT appointment. If it's a bug I don't want to share.

My pain pump trial was finally approved yesterday so that's a huge relief! The pain has been really bad. I'll have to stay overnight on the 27th so that should be interesting.

QOTD: no. Not at all lol

food is up in the air.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

My trainer called in yesterday so that session was moved to today, so I enjoyed an evening at home. My livestream concert was fantastic so that was great too, plus I got in a rowing session and boxing one too.

QOTD - I get everything I need and want to done; I feel like it's a good mix of fun and productive and responsible and I rarely feel like I do't have enough time and I don't miss deadlines (work or personal) and I'm happy with how I use my time. Does that equal "wise"?

Today is just work and the rescheduled training session after a busy day; it's a lot of meetings but they are all of the full hour or even longer type so that makes it easier.

menu

Coffee plus half and half X2

scrambled egg with cheese

italian beef X 2

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Good morning, everybody!

Office yesterday, so I had to change out of my usual gym clothes. Black jeans, untucked dress shirt, loafers. Went outside and it was freezing. Put on my North Face for the ride to the office.

Ordinarily, I try to avoid wearing a jacket when I'm driving. Sure enough, after a few miles I'm roasting. I don't have great mobility in my shoulder so the Harry Houdini reach back and slip off the sleeve while I'm driving isn't going to happen.

Instead, I grabbed the back of my coat and pulled it over my head while driving. Kind of like in a hockey fight. Well, I've lost a few lately so my shirt must have been looser than I realized. Because, whoosh, not only did the coat come off but the shirt did too.

So, I'm driving to work, completely shirtless except for my wrists. Static cling is still keeping my coat stuck to my shirt which is now dangling from my wrists. And inside out.

Of course this is a giant Karmic signal for traffic to loosen and the formerly stop and go movement to become a steady flow at 30 MPH.

Although I enjoy day drinking as much as the next person, I'm not really a drive around shirtless kind of guy. I don't have any tattoos or even the right vehicle for it.

So you can imagine that I felt pretty awkward. Fortunately, in this case there are 26 lights (I've counted) on the road between my house and the highway exit. So, over several red light stops, I was able to wrestle the shirt out of the coat, and, one at time, get my arms back into the sleeves.

Fortunately, nobody called law enforcement.

Hoping that Ron and Julia's roommate have a day of recovery today.

The Bronco saga may come to an end today (at least for awhile). We are going to the dealer this afternoon. Marilyn still isn't sure whether she will take the 2 door or a different 4 door that they have in stock. In either case, se still intends to order what she originally wanted as soon as the 2023 order banks open. So photo Friday may feature her in the new car.

Happy Hour today.

QOTD: I tend to intersperse short, intense work periods, with longish bouts of lethargy. It seems to work for me.

Breakfast: egg sandwich

Lunch: Proscuittto and mozzarella with pesto

Dinner: Fish tacos

Have a great day, all!
