What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Well, how nice is that. DH is having surgery tomorrow so I think I might get him a special as well. Not sure what yet but maybe just some comfy jogging pants for around the house.
Jen, you were right the electrolytes I used on Sunday Morning were the LMNT. We did get another sample that I liked better, and it was called Ultima replenisher and their site is ultimareplenisher.com This one is not as salty as the LMNT 0 sugar 0 calories and 0 carbs.
My stomach is still off. I only used the fiber in my coffee and nixed the MiraLAX hoping it will help. I'll be out of the office to take DH to the hospital tomorrow, but I will be doing double duty when I get back because my partner who helps when I am out will be in court. Looks like Thursday will be a busy day. Hoping the surgery is early tomorrow so that when he comes home to rest, I can get the 1st pumpkin cheesecake of the season made. Just in case we have people come to visit him.
QOTD: TicTok. Coffee creamer. I am going to try to cut down on the fake coffee creamer and go with the ones made of cream at least. I know they are terrible, but they are so good.

Happy Tuesday menu peeps.
So I had to give my dog a bath last night because she is still scratching. It took two people to get the job done and she only sounded like someone was killing her for a minute. It really was a funny sight. Both my husband and I are in our undies and a t-shirt. I'm in the bathtub with Meisha and he is holding the ice cream and her collar. I scrubbed her from top to bottom and then we both rinsed her off. By the end she just stood there realizing it felt pretty good. She was so dirty and she has had baths before.
Grim is the best, but I've always known that just from all the years on OH and how much he loves you.

Have a wonderful day everyone
My roommate was not feeling well on Saturday, had run a temperature of 104. Covid test was negative, he took Dayquil and I gave him some cough drops. Well yesterday he was coughing up blood and finally went to the Dr, but was late for his appointment so they sent him to immediate care and from there in an ambulance to the hospital. I'm trying to hold it together but they found a mass on his right lung, and admitted him to the hospital. I'm hoping if it is lung cancer they can remove part of the lung and treat him, my Mom had that done a few years ago. The bad part is that he doesn't have any insurance. He's still owing his doctor and for the last $1400 ambulance ride (allergic reaction to nuts) at a company event that they did not show nuts as an ingredient. Once you give yourself epi you have to go to the hospital. Let's just say I'm trying not to worry so much, about the money and about him.
I have work, so I should get a full 40 in this week.
The kittens are still wild, believe me you don't need 3 of them in the bathroom with you when you shower. I finally kicked them out, not sure why they were licking me? The water on my skin? They are crazy.
I need to get to work.
Have a great day everyone! QJB enjoy Eddie and Grim is just the best!

Julia I am sending the very best thoughts to your friend for a healthy recovery. Can you help him sign up now for the healthcare insurance exchange? The monthly premium is not cheap, for sure, but it is a whole lot better than facing a major diagnosis with nothing in place.

Julia-Sending thoughts and prayers your way for your roommate. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious or at least easily treatable. Has he applied with the hospital for financial assistance? Many hospitals have charitable funds available, reduced pricing based on income, assistance with applying for Medicaid, etc. I would have him ask to speak to a financial counselor who can assist with exploring his options.
