Afternoon everyone. The last couple of weeks have been busy at home and work. Today we started our fall outage at the plant were one boiler comes off-line for repairs and maintenance. Next week we have employee appreciation week so I have been busy ordering swag for employees and setting up two luncheons. One will be BBQ and the other will be a mix of beef, chicken, and fish dishes with sides. We also have Panera Bread coming one day for breakfast. We will have raffles and prizes for everyone at the plant.
Home wise I've been busy finishing up harvesting stuff from the garden and getting ready to plant my garlic for next year. Lots of decluttering and tossing stuff that I no longer use or need. It amazes me how much crap a person can collect over the years. And still dealing with some fleas after two round of bombing. Have to give the dog a bath tonight so the neighbors will think I'm killing someone. The dog is a 65lb drama queen. The cat on the other hand just sucks it up and enjoys the bath.
Accountability has been a bit off. I may or may not have had a donut and a chocolate chip muffin last week. :)
5am coffee with raw milk
B: was supposed to be eggs and bacon, but I didn't get around to heating it up at work so I will leave it until tomorrow
L: Mississippi Pot roast over Kale I forgot how tender a chuck roast can bee
D: Salmon and spinach
QOTD: Nope I have no desire to live in any city. You could even offer me millions of dollars to live in a city and I would still decline. I like the quietness of the country and being able to go outside in the middle of the night and see all the stars in the sky.

Sounds like we share similar opinions on cities. Kinda makes me glad to know I'm not the only one. I can see so many stars from the pasture. Cheers!

I love to see a million stars in the night sky. It is true that the light pollution in the city obscures the stars.

Hello to the new week.
QJB: Bummer on the paper. Did you realize you misunderstood the instructions before turning it in? I did that also when I was in grad school. Luckily, you were diligent in getting it done early so you have time to correct it before turning it in.
Off from work today (usual scheduled day off). Got up and took care of the floors. My roomba has a problem with self-emptying the dust bin due to dog hair. Therefore, I took my vacuum to the underside of my bed (where the dogs like to lay) for a good vacuuming. Then the rest of the house got a good vacuuming then mopping. Otherwise, not a lot of plans for today until my Inferno Pilates class this evening. May go with DD to get my nails done. I need to finish DS college applications also and start the financial aid stuff.
DS and I did go axe throwing yesterday, which was fun. I squeaked out a last-minute win (5-4 games score out of 9)!
QOTD: I like the idea of picking a European city to live for a year. Paris is beautiful and would be a great hopping off point to see the rest of the continent. In the US, it would be NYC.
B: triple zero yogurt with keto granola, raspberries, cold brew with half n half
L: Turkey Summer salad with light poppy seed dressing
S: protein frosty
D: Asian turkey salad with light sesame ginger dressing
S: protein frosty, 4 squares sf chocolate
E 60 min inferno pilates with weights and bands

Interesting! You do your son's college application but you spoke of independence and personal responsibility when I would stress about waking mine up to go to school?
