What's on your (PHOTO) Friday?
on 10/14/22 10:24 am
You got in some movement! Congrats. Similar to what other have said, totally on board with the...even just a few minutes counts. I also lure myself by finding interesting movies and shows that can only be seen on the elliptical. If I want to see more, exercise! It's so hard to stay motivated.

Mornin' All!
I'm taking the moms (mine and my MIL) to tour an assisted living facility this morning. We have a second one booked (at a different place) for NEXT Friday. And I'll keep scheduling more. My mother is probably going to need to go to one sometime within the next year. Not sure about MIL - probably not that soon, but she wants to see what's available for when the time comes. She used to work in such facilities - first as a social worker and then as an admissions director - so she knows what to ask. It'll be great to have her along. Nothing much on tap for the weekend, but as usual, i have a lot of odds & ends to deal with. It seems overwhelming at the moment...
p.s. the cookies - esp the flowers - are absolutely amazing! Those flower ones look like something from a wedding (are they?). Wow - gorgeous!
QOTD: nothing in particular - just all the crap I need to be doing. It's become overwhelming. I just need to buckle down and get on top of it!
B: protein oatmeal topped with plain skyr and diced, cooked apple. Coffee with half & half
MS: probably nothing since I had a late-ish breakfast
L: we'll probably go to lunch somewhere after the assisted living tour, so...??
AS: probably yogurt with raspberries
D: the last chicken sausage plus a vegetable
ex: ?? Probably should do SOMETHING (although I've been doing something every day this week - I could take today off if I want to...)

Nope the cookies were just for practice because I took an online tutorial and wanted to see if I could do them... but they went to my mom who loves pretty things :)

Good morning all and Happy Friday,
QJB - what's your biz name on FB and I'll follow. You totally kick ass and take names when it comes to taking care of business - literally with the cookies and getting all the school work done while fitting in time to help with your mom.
QOTD - I'm now always sitting in traffic now right before I turn onto my street. The city put in a bike lane with concrete barriers on the main road outside my house. The bike lane is important. The concrete barriers are unneeded and eliminates the passing opportunity for those not turning left. It all boils down to not programming the lights in succession, city engineers planning for this, and too much traffic.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt (the taste changed - I hope it's just this shipment), tangerine. Coffee, sf vanilla, stevia.
L: Chicken breast.
D: 2-3 Ribs.
S: string cheese.

Good morning!
It's wet and drizzly outside. But I'm heading out for a walk to meet my girlfriend for breakfast. I'm layered up, and I certainly won't melt. I had a good hard walk yesterday and was on point for food except for one little mystical unicorn cookie. I found frosted animal crackers with sprinkles in unicorn shapes, purple and white and I was splitting the package remnants up to make movie snacks for the girls, and there was 21 cookies. What else was I supposed to do?
Today is walk to breakfast to meet a friend for eggs and coffee. Extended walk home if weather permits and call my Dad. He's 85 today.
QoTD: Why won't Roger wipe the counter after he makes a snack?
Menu:
B: Egg and bacon
L: left over chicken and acorn squash
D: maui ribs, 2 tbsp sticky rice, kale sweet salad. Yum!
I'm doing all the photos at one time. Don't hate me!

Beautiful pics.
You cracked me up with the extra unicorn cookie. Before WLS I would divvy up like this: one for DD, one for me, one for DS, one for me. And on top of that all the cracked/broken ones. To this day I should not be trusted with giving out candies to trick or treaters because I go back to one for you one for me! Not so much the candies but the chocolates for sure.
