Hello Thursday Menuers-Its Pre-Friday!

QJB-Sounds like you had a great time with your birthday boy and family. I am sorry to hear the path report was not good. Sounds like your nephew can expect more treatments. I hope these treatments will put him on the course of full recovery. I took a look at the Pickety Place menu, it certainly does looks good.

Today is a couple of meetings, more data abstraction and paperwork as usual at work. Tomorrow I am going to work from home since we have a 2:30 pm team building bowling events to go to. It should be a fun get together.

DH has finally got on a healthier eating plan. I am happy for him. He constantly complains of joint aches, bowel issues, fatigue. Plus, he is constantly irritable at every little thing. I am hoping this will help all of those things. He and DS are working out together lifting weights. They have been for a while now but DH was really just going through the motions, now he is giving it his all. I am hoping that some of his symptoms of poor diet and healthy lifestyle will fade rather quickly as he can get frustrated with not feeling better quickly. I am trying to support him by making sure he has something to eat in the evening. Last night I made some healthier red beans n rice and Amylu's chicken sausage. He seemed to like that. This is a bit extra for me since I have been just eating salads this summer.

QOTD: I am not sure I have a fall favorite place to go. I cant think of any place in particular.

Accountability: Excellent! No popcorn...

B: triple zero greek yogurt with keto granola and blueberries, cold brew with half n half

L: Summer Salad with Turkey light poppy seed dressing

S: Protein frosty

D: Turkey Asian Salad with sesame ginger dressing

S: 4 squares sf chocolate, protein frosty

E: 60 min hot vinyasa yoga

Have a most excellent Thursday.

Good morning. I love these dark mornings before time change. I know it's not PC, but I love them. I lay awake and watch the horizon slowly light up and I feel like I'm waking up with the day. I have fuller day today than yesterday, and it's off the couch and back to my walk for me as soon as I am done here. Then carwash, gas up (eeeeek!!!!) a quick run to Trader Joe's to finish off what I need for the week, pack a box up for my brother (He does Keto, so I am sending him all the Keto related OH Convention goodies, because I am NOT going to make a meal that requires a half a stick of butter per serving!), packing up snacks for my grands and pick them up after school to see Lyle, Lyle Crocodile and take them to dinner and back home. Whew. I'll be done for at the end of the day!

Amy!!! You are crushing your Move goal! You go, girl!

Jim, Not sure if it's Max or the show, but I think Country Fire might have a sporting chance on sticking around a bit. Lot's of plot twists to get up to speed with in the first episode and Bode is still massive compared to everyone else. (Bode being the new Clay, of course!

QJB -- really thinking of your family and sending good thoughts for the best possible outcome

QoTD: Around here, really the only "fall" place to go is Julian. Great apple pies that are now outrageously expensive. When we were young they were 5.99-7.99 per pie and now are 25.99 per pie. Also some apple orchards and a little town to wander around and shop through. But it's one of those things that is so touristy it just isn't worth the traffic hassle to us anymore. Rog does miss getting fresh apple/cherry cider though.

Accountability for yesterday. Not bad at all and I did roast a chicken and fingerlings for dinner with an acorn squash. Ate two fingerlings and about 2 ounces squash and a small chicken breast. Dang it was good. I ate 1 cookie with the guys for dessert.

Meals today:

B cottage cheese and left over chicken meat

L: 1 oz chorizo slices, 1 oz cheese, 10 pop chips

D: TBD, but I will not indulge in any snacks at the movie theater

E: trying for two miles with the hill I dislike today.

Peace Everybody!

Good morning -Horrible internet here. Third time is a charm so from my phone this time! Yesterday we ended early so I had plenty of time to shop and dine before my talk space appt. It went well, but I always think that at first. Today I am skipping the morning session since I'm not interested and walking to the lake and a little hike in the woods I found. This afternoon is my favorite part of the conference. Tonight I'm gonna walk across the street to Nevada and do a little gambling! Fitting in a lot today.
QOTD- anywhere there is fall colors or farm stands/markets. So quaint! I miss New England.
Yestrday:

b coffee, veggie egg white scramble

l fennels salad, chicken piccata

d - Azul tacos - eh, not what I expected. I had one fish taco which was good and tried the Thai curry taco which was really bad. I'd never met a taco I didn't like until last night!

e logged 107 active minutes - tons of walking I'm pretty sore in the morning and that makes me realize how sedentary/lazy I've become.

Have a wonderful day!!

Good morning everyone! I started with 3 hours of back to back early meetings so a late post for me.

qotd - I don't have any fall traditions but you I usually take advantage of summer being over to get out and hike more. I do try to time it to see the aspens change color but it's so unpredictable in timing.

Dinner out with friends tonight, so many meetings today that I can't get my elliptical in until after work but all in all will be a good day!
