wishing your hubby the best.

I am so disillusioned with the pain management people. The slogan of my pain management clinic is "the pain stops here". Like yeah right. They won't give me anything but muscle relaxers. It's so frustrating for those of us going through it and those that love them.

Sounds like you had an "eventful" evening/night. I had muscle cramps. I also get those when I dont get enough water in. I would agree with preferring flip flops and pool time over cozy season. I prefer the heat now since I have lost weight. Not extreme heat but 80-90s are good for me. And sunshine, not the shorter darker days.

Good morning from home base! We made it back home yesterday afternoon after 12 days on the road. We had a wonderful time and saw some gorgeous country. During my 12 days on the road, I only cooked in the RV 3 times. This is very unusual for us, but that is how it worked out this time. I made the best food choices available at each meal, practiced intense quantity control, drank uncountable glasses of wine and got in a power walk 10 out of 12 days. This morning, my weigh in puts me exactly at the same weight as I was on the day we left. 118.2. And I'm taking that not only as a win, but I am owning that as hard earned.

Today we just have some groceries to pick up (dying for a nice fresh basic salad or a baked fingerling with oven roasted chicken), drop off the RV comforter at the cleaners and put the RV back to storage. Easy peasy day.

I read a book called Search by Michelle Huneven in less then two days this week. It was a wonderful book and I was so sad to see it end. Don't let the religion aspect put you off if it's not your thing. Turns our being a UU is being whoever you want to be. If you read it, you'll get the UU!

I'm taking a break from intentional exercise today. My inner thighs are killing me. Too many stairs and letting the dogs drag me around trying to chase squirrels and peafowl me thinks.

Food is TBD. I know I have some cottage cheese, so I'll start there and eat before I go shopping so that I can be sure there are meat and veggies in my cart and not, you know, Doritos.

QoTD: Cozy all the way. I lit our table of candles last night for the first time since the start of summer. They make me very happy.

Peace Everybody!
