Wow I didn't know you had so many obesity related illnesses. I am so glad you turned it around as quickly as you did. I am sure the Fam is so proud of you. I am for sure. Let me know where you plan to spend retirement. Ron and I are coming with you. We need him to fix everything we break.

Me and my son may be Facetiming Ron this December as we try and fix the Coca Cola refrigerator. I don't think there is any such thing as an appliance repair shop these days.

He would be honored. But he gets all his answers from Mister Google or Mr you tube. If prices don't come down for a flight to Costa Rica we may need another out. I hear Chicago is a pretty nice place and I have a big customer there I'd love to meet.

Would love to have you. I'd be lying if I said that there was much flip flop season left.

Nice to "meet" you again. Great job on keeping the weight off and correcting your comorbidities. It is inspiring to see that success during maintenance. Although you say you are a mixed bag of compliance, you seem to have found a balance despite how busy you are.

QOTD. Guess I will go with spooky, the salon was all decorated up for Halloween when I went for a trim yesterday. Fall is experienced here with a drop in humidity and it is a little less hot, but cozy it is not. I get excited when I can put on a sweat shirt, but that happens later in winter.

Nothing planned for today but a pedicure and a trip to the grocery. I need to get some salad fixings and some other fresh produce. I am very sore from physical therapy yesterday. My foot drop is nearly gone so I am close to discarding my cane. I never needed it for support, it was just a reminder to pick my leg up higher so I don't trip. PT has been concentrating on core work which I really need. Tomorrow is another PT session. I need to be more active, I let my pain and functional limitations be an excuse to slack off way to often.

Menu I am not good at planning out what I will eat. I pick from safe items that I have on hand. I have gone back to protein shakes as I am not getting enough protein. I like fruit and veggies most of all.

We all know the secret to success is moving. No matter what moving looks like for you. Now we got to work on the motivation part. Hopping you find the balance you are looking for. I am looking too.

A million likes on that one. Moving is the secret. When I stop moving, I start gaining.

Good morning ~ Happy birthday to your dad and enjoy that ****tail - sounds fab, plus-Dollywood!? -even cooler. I drank so much coffee and iced tea yesterday that I was dehydrated and had a headache all day/night. Will stick with water and herbal tea today (after my coffee - duh!). I had reached out to my local bariatric meeting organizer and asked for a zoom invite that turned out to be for last night at 5:30. I got on for a little bit, but my internet is so shoddy here I gave up. It's run by a LFMT and from what I could tell, it was well done - we'll see next time. I should have used my hot spot - totally forgot. Another long day ahead - will walk as much as I can. I have my first talk space therapy appt at 7:30 tonight.

QOTD - COZY all the way! I'm wearing a hoodie and Ugg's over Pj's right now sipping coffee. Pretty cozy! I love sweaters, boots and nice fire too - looking forward to it being cold enough for that still at home.

Yesterday:

b- SB latte, breakfast bar- egg white scramble and sausage

l - fajita bar - small portions of fish, chicken, fajita veggies and salad

d- Taco Salad - grilled chicken and avocado w/salsa - no dressing or cheese.

e- tons of walking - every chance I got - logged 60 active minutes yesterday.

Today - conference food - no prob and tonight Azul finally - didn't make it there last night. The event I thought was tonight is tomorrow. Still on the fence as I haven't gotten in that hike or the lake yet. Trying to fit in all the things!!

Have a fabulous day!
