Mornin' All!

this is going to be a really busy week. Today the only two scheduled things are a Zoom program at 1:00 that I signed up for, and a birthday dinner for my MIL, but I have so many non-scheduled things I need to do (the usual class-related stuff so I don't get too far behind, plus watching two movies for my film discussion groups and reading two books for my book discussion group), that I need to get as much done as I can because I have some heavily-scheduled days coming up. I hope to get out on my bike the next couple of days, too, since the weather is going to cooperate. Colder days are on their way, so I need to get out and bike while I still can...

QOTD: easy - the soda (which I haven't drunk for years) and the cheeseburger, because I don't do ground beef. Next on the list would be the potato chips. There are some chips I really like, but most of them are a disappointment.

B: plain skyr with fruit and chia seeds, coffee with half & half.

MS: protein shake

L: either a salad with chicken breast and light dressing, or a chicken sausage with sauerkraut - and maybe an apple.

AS: protein muffin

D: we'll be out for the birthday dinner. I'll either get the grilled chicken breast or the salad bar (the salad bar comes with every entree - or you can just get the salad bar by itself)

have a great day, everyone!

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

I resemble the meme since last January. Wish I had the Mojo to exercise. Hopefully it will happen again someday soon. I am in the working majority today.

Hope you're feeling better soon QJB.

My weekend was productive. I did get to see CeCe Winans on Friday night and what an uplifting show. I am really not into Christian music except on Sunday mornings but Wow I may have to start listing to her a little more. Saturday did start with the HITT class, and I rocked it as much as I could. I'm not as far out of shape as I thought I was. It did lead to pain, so I did not do any exercise yesterday or this morning because I hurt but I plan on getting a walk in tomorrow morning. I got all my clothes switched out and all my shoes. Those of you who do not have to switch clothes out don't understand but it is not my favorite job when I go from summer to winter. I do like going from winter to summer. I also pulled down all of my Fall and Steeler decorations so many trips up and down to the attic, so I am counting that as exercise. Too bad pulling out my Steelers stuff didn't help the team at all.

I got Mom duty all week so please pray for me. I need it.

QOTD: I am with you QJB No Soda or Ice cream.

Accountability: Ugh, too many health snacks

TSS: 4 years 9 months 26 days: 159 LBS, (Lowest 129.4) If this says 160 Monday, please shoot me.

CB: Coffee with Coffee Mate SF Chocolate Caramel creamer

Have a great week my friends.

Brightest Blessings.

QOTD- Ice cream and cheese burger, lactose intolerant and don't eat meat.

I've found a really great place to walk. It's the local nature park. It's 222 acres of a mix of old growth and varied natural environments. I've been there for the last 3 days. My walks have varied from 1.2 -2.2 miles. It is wonderful, also no dogs allowed and no bikes on the unpaved trails. I was slower than normal because I was too much in awe of the scenery. I think I have found my closest happy place and it smells so good.

I've stopped drinking wine for a while, it really interferes with my sleep if I have more than a glass. I also need to stop using it to deal with stress, it's much better to go out for a walk.

I stepped on the dreaded scale and I'm up 11lbs, not as bad as I thought it might be. So now with the increased exercise and decreased wine I'll see if I can get back to my "normal" weight.

I'm hoping the work situation turns around and I get back to a full weeks work.

Have a great day everyone!

Hello Menu Friends,

QJB-I hope your espresso helped with your energy and that you are feelng better.

I had a nice weekend. We did get the motorcycle sold but I had to miss my workout due to the time we needed to meet the buyer. The title was in my name, so I had to be there. Did a Costco run and other misc errands. Sunday, I did get in my 90-minute Hot Bikram Yoga class. It was taught by an instructor who studied 7 years under Bikram Choudry who developed Bikram Yoga. Apparently, the 105-degree heat with 40% humidity is supposed to copy the weather of India. It was a great class. I then went for a 90-minute facial with peel alternative. Lots of me time yesterday. My DS had his senior pictures taken yesterday. We already have the picture proofs back to look at, so far they look awesome. Today, as usual I am home (off Mondays) so doing some of this and that. Got my car wash, went to return a shirt, looked at galvanized water troughs (going to use them for a raised bed to move my rasperry plants to), dusting, and next I will finally get outside to stir the compost bin. I have been putting it off since it can be a bit tedious.

QOTD: The first item to go is the soda. I use to have quite a diet coke habit but gave up all caronated beverages after surgery. Next, maybe the fries or chips. I have noticed that after surgery I dont tolerate the french fry as much anymore, so rarely have 1 or 2 off someone elses plate. Same as roasted potatoes. Interestingly, I can do baked potatoes, maybe it is the fluffiness and additives that make the texture right for my pouch.

B: triple zero greek yogurt with keto granola, blueberries, cold brew with half n half

L: Summer salad with turkey, light poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty

D: Turkey asian salad with sesame ginger dressing

S: 4 squares sf chocolate, protein frosty

E: 60 min Inferno Pilates

Have a glorious day!
