What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Amazon used to reduce the price if something was left in the cart, but that does not happen anymore. Probably because so many people do it now. I was one of the original users of Amazon back about 1994. My husband told my sister that he was happy because I was on my computer every night instead of at the mall buying things. Then the UPS guy started showing up every day and he realized that I was spending money on my computer, not just sitting there.

Wow! 1994, you were an early user of Amazon.

You must have been buying a ton of books back when they were books only! I would have been but that was back in the days of roommates and bar hopping which reduced my book budget!

Jen
I bought, read, and studied one self improvement book every month and one that dealt with some aspect of business. I bought lots of books as gifts for kids. I purchased many database programming and design books. The internet was not very good for looking things up back then and I used books and highlighted parts of them. I had several bookcases that were filled. Most people who looked at my books thought that they were boring. Amazon was so much better than the library.

Good morning, everybody!
Great article Trish. And I am glad that Jen linked it because sometimes, I only go to this page and don't bother to look at the rest of the site.
I have a liver doctor appointment this morning. It's because my baritrician saw the high enzymes and said "why don't you see her just in case?" When I saw her she said that I had a liver biopsy during surgery and that is the gold standard of liver examination. Nonetheless, i still see her once a year. I have 8 doctors and only 2 are actually treating me for anything.
Fortunately, I brought my spare liver to the OH conference last week.
The Good
42 minutes of:
8 Burpees
12 DB Snatch 30 pounds
16 walking lunge steps passing a 20 pound kettlebell underneath my thigh with each step
12 plate ground to overhead 25 pounds
30 calorie max effort assault bike for calories
I got 9 rounds, 80 calories on the assault bike.
The Bad
We had Garrett's Popcorn brought in to celebrate return to office. I definitely joined in. And not only the cheese covered bin.
The Ugly
Remember when I said that I was having Frittata for breakfast? Apparently, I misspelled Pop Tarts.
It's Happy hour today, so cheese and charcuterie tonight. Given how much I have to get done before leaving for a weekend away tomorrow, its probably just a clementine Bai to accompany.
QOTD: Nope, I'm not a browser. If its in the cart its coming home. With that said, there is always the possibility that lack of technical proficiency and/or limited thumb dexterity has left me with heretofore unknown carts floating around the internet.
Breakfast: Fasting in case they want blood work
Lunch: Roast Beef
Dinner: Charcuterie
Have a great day, all!

The good thing is our liver is the fastest healing organ in our body. I also thought we were not going to mention our wine drinking here. LOL like this honey badger cares. Where you heading this weekend? I wish Ron could travel more.

Jim,
I just want to say thanks for making me horse laugh at my desk. Fortunately with the construction work going on 30 feet away, no one had a reason to stare. Pop Tarts. Ha.
Also, I tried Garrett's for the first time early this year after taking flak from people for having repeatedly flown through Chicago without picking some up. I tried the mix stuff and some super tasty caramel corn. Fortunately...no cravings these days, which I'm embracing.
Best of luck with liver doctors!
