Good morning, everybody!

I got home at about 6:30 last night. Marilyn was at tennis, so I worked out a little bit and then went to Jersey Mike's. When she got home we watched Seal Team. I was expecting hours on end of glorious sleep, but no just 5-6.

I had a wonderful time at the conference with my menu friends. I think that the science has not changed that much since I went through the eduction process 5 years ago, but there did seem to be some really interesting developments with respect to gut bacteria that I plan to study more closely.

Today, I have a pretty full work schedule plus the gym.

QOTD: Given the disappointing sleep results, I am going with 4.

Breakfast: Protein bar

lunch: Proscuitto mozzarella, tomatoes

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!

That does sound interesting and I am sure you will share some of your research with us. Do probiotics play into that?

This is what all the hype is about. I didn't read Jims's post before I posted so this may put it into perspective of what we heard.

GERD is really awful. I have had it a few times and do everything I can to avoid it. I have completely given up coffee, tea, and any form of caffeine, including any Coke or Diet Coke. I do sometimes have a small amount of dark chocolate and once in a while indulge in milk chocolate. I hope yours resolves soon.

The next few weeks I am working and will be very busy, so I feel a bit like cat #8 this morning. It is tax extension time and people who did not file in April will be filing their taxes by October 15. I will be back on the phones today and have not done that since April 15. But after the next two weeks I will not work again until January. I am so glad that it is all remote and my commute is just walking down the hall.

Good morning QJB and Menuers,

Julia so proud of your conviction for coffee. I think it would take bleeding out my ears to give it up too.

I cannot express how glad I was to make the decision to do the OH conference. The people on this tread are real and genuine and I can honestly say you will all be friends for life. Even if you were not able to go, I know in my heart you are all truly great people who do keep me accountable for my diet and know exactly what my struggles are and are willing to share your experiences for the greater good of my health. I love each and every one of you and hope to meet the rest of you in person someday.

My biggest Ah Ha moment I learned at the conference was on Microbiome health and how we need to control stomach health with pro and prebiotics and get rid of the Miralax. Sounds super scary but she suggests a bite of fermented food at each meal and a corn fiber. If anyone cares to hear more let me know. As soon as I get to look at her website, I can share the link.

Accountability. I never went off track. I was accountable for everything that went in my mouth. We all followed a strict program all weekend long.

TSS: 4 years 9 months 22 days: 158.6 LBS, (Lowest 129.4)

Have a great week my friends.

Brightest Blessings.
