Morning all! Whoops, I didn't do any of that organizing that I planned on doing yesterday. I just couldn't motivate. No big deal. But it's not happening today, either--we are actually planning to head down the Cape today for what will probably be our last lobster roll of the season :)

I hope everyone has an awesome meet up this weekend! Have funnnnnn!

QOTD: Have you ever known anyone who was on a reality show? I knew someone on an early season of Survivor. But I tuned into an HGTV show last night (the one hosted by Jonathan Knight from NKOTB) and the homeowner was someone I went to high school with!

B: not sure - feeling a little yucky. might skip it.

L: lobstah roll!

D: chicken?

I use to buy veggies before WLS and they would go to waste. Now when I buy, I use what I buy, especially ingredients for salad. Has anyone noticed the volume of lettuce you can consume? I can eat a fairly large bowl of lettuce plus veggies without discomfort. Plus all that fiber! So good.

This morning I have a class that lasts until noon, then back to my desk. Probably work from home again tomorrow.

QOTD: Nope.

Accountability: Excellent

B: triple zero greek yogurt with keto granola, blueberries, cold brew with half n half

L: Summer salad with chicken, light poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty

D: Chicken asian salad with sesame ginger dressing

S: 4 squares sf chocolate, protein frosty

E: 60 min hot yoga

Have a great pre-Friday.

I still can't eat lettuce/salad 5 years out. I get stuck in a bad way. Even the fresh veggie spring rolls with rice paper wrap (Thai), although I eat only the inside I get stuck and can't eat anything else.

Bummer. I love my salads, as you can see from my daily menu I am eating 2 large salads each day. I look forward to them.

QOTD- No one I know.

I'm so jealous of you guys meeting up at OH. I have work so that will distract me.

I've been watching You on Netflix, it's creepy but I decided to read the book. It is so much better and has so much humor in it. As a book person I love all the literary references and condescension in it. I've never read this author before Carolyn Kepnes, there are more books in the series so I'll probably read those as well.

It is hard to work with 3 kittens in your lap, I eventually give up and put them down. They seem to be where you8 don't want them to be.

Have a great trip those of you heading to the OH conference, and have a great day everyone else!

Good morning! I swear I didn't sleep this late. I'm up and polished and have everything at the house sorted out to leave for our trip. Just need to hook the tow car just before we leave. It's our first real trip towing and we are both a bit anxious about it. We'll be gone 14 or 15 days total. Those of you we will see at OH, please excuse brown dog's attitude if you see us out and about. He's a nervous nelly and I have his puppy Xanax with me to help ease him through. We just tell everyone to play with black dog and wait for the brown one to come to you. And he'll be on a tight leash still due to his leg surgery. But he's doing great!

QoTD: nope!

Menu:

B: hb egg, slice of bacon, 2 oz cottage cheese

L: left over taco (oh, accountability -- a very stressful morning had me running for tacos yesterday. I ate one for lunch and saved one for today)

D: Vaca ---mmmmmm, and wine. And great conversation with new found friends!

Peace everybody and safe travels.
