QJB you have too much else going on now to pull out a million things. One of my organizing secrets is to never pull out more than I can finish that day. I remember being young and taking out everything, throwing it on the beds and then having to find a place to put what was still out so we could sleep at night. I set up my house so that will never happen again.
I used 11 inch storage cubes and ended up with twenty of them. I made cute labels from little blackboards I found at Dollar General. One is Creams. It has hand creams, body creams, face creams, foot cream, any tube of bottle that I use sometimes but don't want sitting out. The Cotton box has different cotton balls, pads, and Q-Tips. Dental has extra toothpaste, brushes, floss, and parts for the waterpiks and electric brushes. They are lined up on closet shelves in alphabetical order. I can quickly find anything and if anyone looks all they see is neat rows of labeled bins. The way I finally corralled clutter without throwing it all away.
I always wanted to be Minnie Mouse. I love her cute dresses, hair bows, and colorful shoes. Also her tiny waist. When Walt Disney was a young man and struggling, he ended up working in an old warehouse. It was overrun with mice. Anyone else would have been discouraged and given up, but he started drawing pictures of the mice in cute outfits and ended up turning that dismal experience into the basis of his successful career.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Good morning, everybody!
I heard the Ramones classic I Want To Be Sedated, when I was in the coffee line this morning. Fitting for today's mood:
Twenty, twenty four more hours to go,...
Unfortunately, sedation is not an option for me this morning, because I actually have much to do and many places to go. Also, I need to pack tonight. More than a duffle bag, less than Amy (hopefully).
Marilyn's Mom is coming out tonight, but we are going to kind of just cross paths briefly as she comes in tonight and I leave really early tomorrow, I get home Sunday and she leaves early Monday.
Marilyn bought a Chicken Pot Pie from Costco for today. Definitely a fall meal. Fortunately, i am double dipping at the gym this morning and tonight, because I don't recall a Pot Pie chapter in my Bariatric Manual.
QOTD: Oh, I'm in Bikini Bottom with QJB. I have a mental power ranking of all Sponge Bob characters (with obligatory comparisons to Greek mythology, pop figures, and other forms of nonsense), that I have been meaning to post one of these Friday's. Maybe in a month or so.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Chicken Pot Pie
Dinner: Um, maybe sedation
Have a great day, all!

Good morning! I have a day of cleaning and packing ahead of me. I just got out of the shower, but pretty certain it's going to be a two shower kind of day. I walked for 35+ minutes yesterday and did the chair yoga class (which is still surprisingly taxing) and so today I am letting my exercise be all the trips up and down stairs and in and out of the RV while we clean it and load it out to hit the road tomorrow. My travels will be much less involved then everyone else's I think. We'll leave her after lunch and expect to arrive around 3-4.
QJB-- I must pull out all my sweaters to reacquaint myself with what I own and pick a few for this trip. It's going to be in the low 50's at night and in the morning when we make it up to Paso Robles next week. So I figure pull them all out, re-sort and pick a few and put them back nicely. Not sure why they never stay nicely on the shelves. Probably too many in to small a place.
QoTD: Not much of a cartoon fan, but can I be in the 100 acre woods with Pooh and Eeyore?
menu:
B: hb egg, 1 slice bacon, 2 oz cottage cheese
L: not sure, maybe P3 and pop chips
D: finally the pork chops. Yesterday we punted to edamame spaghetti with meat sauce and extra yummy romano cheese.
Peace Everybody. I'm off to clean before the heat sets in.
