Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday!! The weekend is fast approaching...not fast enough, but still approaching!
Non stop meetings for me from 6 to 11 but then I get to take a break and get my hair cut and colored; I will be so happy to get back to my normal red and purple. I have appreciate all the people recently telling me they liked the blonde...but I know it's 1) not blonde and 2) the successful attempt to proactively mask the grey while my stylist was on mat leave. Yay it worked, lol.
QOTD - Scooby Doo! I was Velma one year for Halloween and had a new coworker start....at the end of the day he had to ask if I was I costume or not, lol.

Mornin' All!
Before I forget, for you conference goers, I emailed Vaca (the Spanish restaurant we're going to Thursday night) with a couple of questions. Figured I'd share the responses in case someone else was wondering the same thing(s): 1) they have no dress code. You can show up in anything as long as you're wearing SOMETHING. But he said if I wanted a recommendation, that I couldn't go wrong with business casual 2) for those of us (like me) who are watching their pennies and/or their food intake, it's fine to order off the tapas menu instead of getting an entree (so in other words...no required minimum order). He said the tapas plates are pretty small, so I might want to order 2-3 to make it my dinner (I was thinking more 1-2, but that's fine. I didn't bother to tell him I'd had bariatric surgery, of course...)
SO....back to today. It'll be swamped. And my weight is up. Not starting out well (and yes -- I'll be ordering a tapa or two. Not blowing it this weekend!!). I have my film discussion group at 10:00, which usually goes two hours - then I need to run some errands. Massage at 1:00. Something else that escapes me at the moment at 3:00, then a dinner engagement (****tails at 5:00, dinner at 6:00). Luckily I did most of my packing last night - but i need to finish that plus get things organized for the cat sitter. And do whatever else needs to be done before I go (I always freak out before I leave to go anywhere for more than a couple of days...)
QOTD: not a big comics/cartoon follower, but Peanuts sounds good to me, too. Or the Jetsons.
B: protein oatmeal topped with plain skyr and fruit. Coffee with half & half
MS: we'll be at the film meeting (at a coffee shop). Probably more coffee - plain or as an iced latte (with SF syrup)
L: ?? May grab something at the coffee shop - soup or sandwich?
