^^guess which look I have been rocking for the last month?^^
Good morning! Phew, I am finally in a really good place with my to-do list for both school and cookies! I got a lot done yesterday :)
My nephew came out of surgery and is resting. They won't have much news for us about the cancer itself for 10 days, so we're just waiting now. I'll plan to visit him after he's home and bring him some food (and cookies!).
Thinking good thoughts for our friends in the path of the Hurricane. Be safe!
QOTD: When you go shopping to you go directly to the item you are buying and leave, or do you walk through all of the aisles (just in case)? Grim drives me nuts because he goes directly for the thing and ignores all of the other aisles. I can't do it! I must walk through the whole store. I must!
B: 2 Eggs
L: Veggie burger with cheese
S: String cheese
D: Chicken sausage

G'morning all!
QJB - happy to hear the good news about your nephew. Thinking positive that it was operable, so that's a good first step. Hoping he receives even better news down the road.
Still limping and the calf muscles are really tight from the hike, so used that excuse to not work out yesterday.
My Covid/flu shot appt didn't go as planned. I had scheduled it at a pharmacy 45 minutes away because nobody around here had Moderna and I wanted to stick with that. I arrive on time, check in and wait. The pharmacist comes out, calls my name and proceeds to say "her personal preference" is to not give both shots at the same time. I'm like I get that's your preference but I have scheduled both and my preference is to get both. Nope, she won. She jabbed me only for Covid. Now I gotta go somewhere else for the flu. Yesterday afternoon my arm was really sore but this morning feels a lot better.
QOTD: depends on how much time I have. I usually go for the stuff I need and leave. Ions ago when ppl actually went to the malls. I shopped the same way and it frustrated DD, because I would ask her for a plan of action and knowing exactly what store at the mall we had to stop at.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Costco Chicken skewers
- Jello, Fage yogurt w/blue berries
- TJ autumn soup
- E: nope

The pharmacy should have let you know ahead of time that they wouldnt let you have both shots at the same time. I would have been mad.

Good morning everyone! Glad your nephew came through fine, that's one hurdle down!
yesterday was busy, I did get everything done I wanted plus a few other things and my nephew's football team won 48 to 0 so that was a nice ending to the day.
today a lot of my meetings were moved to next week while we let our team in clearwater focus on hurricane prep so it will be a bit lighter than usual; I have my trainer and book club tonight as well.
QOTD - I go right to what I need; I hate shopping unless it's the bookstore (or I'm on vacation in a cute little town of shops). In normal life, I have a 3 store maximum a day too -- more than that and I am cranky.
menu today is
coffee plus half and half X 2
cottage cheese with pumpkin spice granola
crockpot chicken green Chile casserole
Clio bar
Have a fantastic Tuesday everyone!
