Mornin' All!
Today is my last light day for the next week. Really packed schedule tomorrow and Wednesday, then it's off to California for the OH conference! SO....I need to get some stuff done today. Book group at 10:00 - I'll bike over. And I have to deal with my mom's car (it's in the shop - I'll need to go over there to get the key after Mom pays the bill (she'll call them and pay over the phone), and then DH and I can drive it back to her apt later tonight when he gets home from work (my mother doesn't drive anymore, but she wants to keep the car since it's easier for her to get in and out of than it is my Honda Civic. Plus my brother uses it when he's in town (which is only like 1-2x a year), and my niece has borrowed it when HER car is in the shop...). Plus as usual, I need to work on my class readings and lectures so I don't get hopelessly behind.
QJB - do they know anything about the tumor? I may have missed a day in there somewhere. I hope it's benign!!! Also - Fit Frappe - I love that stuff, but it's so hard to find anymore (it was before, too, but it's even harder now). I haven't had any in ages. Sounds like wherever you got it from had storage issues (??). Ugh.
And I hope everything goes OK in Florida today - fingers cross for you, Graciela!
QOTD: no. I can't parallel park, either, unless there's A LOT of space to do it in. I've been to Japan a couple of times - EVERYONE backs into spaces there - it'd be weird to pull in front-wise. I'd never survive there!
B: either protein oatmeal with fruit, or plain skyr with fruit. Coffee with half & half
M: I may take a protein muffin to the book group meeting because the leader often brings baked goods (not always - but usually). Having something of my own there will (hopefully...) keep me out of anything she brings!
L: salad (power greens, 1/2 peach, chicken breast, light dressing) and maybe a bowl of matzo ball soup (with 1-2 matzo balls).
AS: if I don't eat my protein muffin in the morning, then I'll have it this afternoon. Otherwise - Greek yogurt?
D: two TJ's turkey meatballs and homemade marinara sauce
have a great day, everyone!

Sadly, it is not benign. It's likely at stage 2. Hoping they get it all out today! We should be getting news in the 2 hours or so, I think...
Funny, I wasn't able to find Fit Frappe for almost 2 years, so I switched over to Click and out it on auto-ship from Amazon. Then I got a notice that Click was in shortage and no longer auto-shipping! I think I got the first Fit Frappe that Amazon sold, but YUCK, it's truly spoiled. After that experience I don't want to try them again, and Click is no longer in stock... so I am out of luck. Regular coffee for the win!
Funny I am good with parallel (I'm better on the right than left) but backing in is always bad!

I used to order it from a couple of coffee vendors - CoffeeAM and Serious Sips. Never tried amazon - although it may have been cheaper there. I've read/heard of other people getting knockoffs or spoiled goods from Amazon, though (not necessarily Fit Frappe - but things in general), so I don't order from them much anymore (it's not Amazon's fault - it's creepy vendors - and Amazon is probably too large to vet everyone).
bad news about the tumor. I hope it's not glioblastoma - that's a bad one. Some people do survive it, but not many (my best friend from high school had it - so I did a lot of reading about it after she was diagnosed). I"m so sorry to hear this. Hopefully it's another type of cancer, or if it's glioblastoma, that he'll be one of the lucky ones (if they can get it all out, his chances are much better!!). Fingers crossed for good news!!
Good Morning! JB- I'll be thinking of your nephew today and hoping all goes well. Ugh, that was a high bill to get your car done! I had a decent weekend although we are in the high 90's again. I attempted a new crochet project and made a few flowers. Unfortunately, I feel like I'm coming down with a little cold. Not enough to stay home, but enough to take an exercise rest day.
QOTD: I'll pull through but not back into. No lie, last week I had to wait to turn into a parking lot while a guy took four attempts to back into a spot- he was in a small little hatchback!

Good Monday Morning!! What a weekend. Had so many things planned, but ended up helping hubby with the car trailer lights. Long story short his oldest son borrowed the trailer and ended up pulling the wires out of the trailer plug when he returned it and didn't say anything. So now both the truck and trailer have new ends because when while he was fixing them found out they were corroded also. At least the trailer is back in service which is good because I have to get hay.
I did start three 1/2 gallon jars of apple cider vinegar hopefully I did it right. Did my usual Sunday cooking for the week and Meisha got a raincoat. She isn't a fan of having to go outside when it is raining. And the cupcakes from the party last Thursday which caused me all sorts of gastric distress from eating two bites of one.
QOTD: Not normally, but if I had I can. My husband can back anything up blindfolded I swear. It could be due to the fact he was a CDL driver for many years and had to back up into some pretty tight spots. He did teach me how to back up a trailer and I'm getting better at it.
5am coffee with raw milk
B: Jalapeno poppers
L: Cauliflower pizza
D: Chicken loaf
Have a great day everyone.

If I had a dog they would have a bigger wardrobe than me! I love that you are having jalapeño poppers for breakfast. That'll wake you up!

Good morning ~ I'm glad to hear you are doing so well with school and cookies! All the good vibes to your nephew and family!! My conference was great but Sacramento is just a sad, heartbreaking city and gets worse every time I go there. I'm blown away by the homeless population and poverty - it's quite disturbing. I ate and ate well into this weekend. I have a good menu today though. Hopefully, the OH conference will give me the inspiration and motivation I need to move past this 2 year funk. I always seem to be looking for 'whatever' on the outside, when it's the inside that needs to do the work - I know this and I'm trying. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone. My margarita costume is complete - can't wait!
QOTD - At work, yes. There are a few terrible parkers and large vehicles that make it impossible to back out even with a camera sometimes so I've taken to backing in so I can get out!
Accountability - all the carbs and wine
b-coffee, egg bites
l-chicken bites, salad mix, evoo and red wine vinegar
d-beef rib
s beef jerky if needed
Have a wonderful day!

I could have written your post about looking for something external to motivate me, but knowing full well that I am the only one with the power to make my own change. Ugh. Why is it so hard? I have the motivation to do just about everything else in life except for figure out my own health!
I hope you get a good kick in the butt at the conference. Pass it on, if you get it :)
