What's on your Monday Menu?

Hey Hey! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was super busy with school work and cookies, as usual. School is still going well, but one of my classes is covering things I know absolutely nothing, about and the professor keeps assigning papers on topics that are not even in the readings. It's frustrating to have to do so much research without even a baseline to know what this is all about. I think I am getting it, though.
Speaking of big beautiful cups of coffee... big news (well, for me, anyway!) about my daily coffee! I have been mixing my first hot cuppa with protein powder since I had my lap-band in 2008. But my favorite brands have been getting harder to find, and the last time I spent $50 on Fit Frappe, it came spoiled and gross. So I think I am going to give it up, entirely. It will save me 50ish calories a day, and I think I will be fine without the extra protein. So I'm giving it up--no more protein coffee!
BTW, for those of you who were taking bets on my car repair cost: $1090. Argh.
My nephew's brain surgery is scheduled for today. They are hoping to remove the entire tumor. Best wishes for him are welcomed.
QOTD: Do you back into parking spots? Nobody wants me doing that... I am terrible at parking, generally, so backing in will not go well! Grim backs into everything with his giant truck and it just makes me so mad that he can do it perfectly!
B: Greek yogurt & granola

QOTD. Nope. No-one wants me doing that!
Storm Ian will be impacting my day. Tons of phone calls all about what are we doing about the storm will be coming my way. Residents panic. Tuesday and Wednesday are my days off. We are likely to get 4 to 6 feet off storm surge and a lot of rain, so I am not sure I will be able to make it in on Thursday. those impacts continue well after storm. We are on the coast and very low. And that is if the storm misses us. I am used to hurricanes and respect them. I would rather have them over those huge tornadoes any time.
Menu. Protein shake, grapes, orange, ham sandwich, Dinner? Maybe more pot roast. It's getting old though

Don't you sometimes get tornadoes in the hurricanes? I've been in both and I prefer a blizzard to either of them, lol

Good morning and happy Monday. Your coffee and my coffee must be colluding on the delusions they give us, lol.
i came home last night vs mid day today so I can get a few things done before I go to my nephew's football game at 4. It was nice to sleep in my own bed, I didn't really plan on getting up at 345 but that is what happened!
today I need to go grocery shopping, clean out the fridge, Do some laundry, take some returns back and hopefully put up my Halloween decorations along with the JV football game.
qotd - yes, if it makes sense like at a big event where pulling out is better than backing out; or if I have something heavy to bring in. I am always thankful for the backup camera!
i don't have a plan for meals today since there is very little food in the house but I have had my duo of coffees!
have a great start to the weeks everyone!!
