What's on your Wednesday Menu?
QJB-Good job on all A's in school! You are just a terrible terrible person telling us about Butterfinger popcorn! Shame on you! I bought Moose Munch popcorn at Costco this week. The bag is staring me down but I have resisted it so far. Waiting for Saturday to indulge.
I like the meme. I have to admit that I dont really miss bread all that much. I rarely eat it since it is just "filler" and not nutritionally beneficial.
Tonight, DD and I will go to Hairspray the musical. Should be fun. I am debating on out to dinner versus eat at home before. Probably at home so I know exactly what I am getting calorie wise. I may try to get a walk in before we go... Early start to the day as I lead our quarterly quality improvement meeting that starts at 0700. I am usually in the office at that time anyways but not generally in front of an audience. It went well.
QOTD: I agree on knowing more about world history. Maybe starting with WWI forward. Home repair also so I could be more handy around the house. Maybe gardening.
Accountability: Excellent
B: triple zero greek yogurt with keto granola, blackberries, cold brew with half n half
L: Summer salad with chicken, light poppy seed dressing
S: protein frosty
D: Asian chicken salad with sesame ginger dressing (most likely)
S: 4 squares sf chocolate
E: walk 60 minutes if time allows.
Have a great Wednesday (humpty hump day)

LOL, sorry. Grim brought it home from the grocery store. He ate 1/2 bag in the car and he gave me the rest. I tried to resist, but...butterfinger popcorn. I give up!

QOTD: languages, art history at the moment. I like learning, just not classes and homework.
I have got the results of mri and nerve conduction, which shows nothing of course. The cause of my foot drop is not known. But it is going away. I am continuing with PT, it is really helping me. They worked me hard today, so I will be a little sore. Recent bloodwork is showing I have rheumatoid arthritis in addition to my other autoimmune diseases. It doesn't matter for treatment as I am already taking immune suppressants. Good news is in spite of all this, I am feeling well lately.
Menu. banana and popcorn for breakfast and snack. Zucchini noodles and meat sauce for lunch. Dinner is Mississippi pot roast. I am still losing slowly and have reached goal at 135. I still have some fat left though so if I lose a few more pounds that would be okay too. My primary care doctor has put in an order for a nutritionist consult as my triglycerides are too high. She has told me to cut down on carbs and to only eat berries for fruit. Bye bye bananas and mango. I don't eat that many Carbs, only about 50 to 70 grams a day as it is. It will be interesting to see what the nutritionist designs for me.
