What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Caving makes me think of claustrophobia! How about those crazies who scuba into caves? Yikes! I do like the rafting but not sure class V would be on my list. You need to get your kayaks out! Even for a sedate paddle on the lake-so relaxing.

Also on my list...fear of drowning. Add scuba to caving and that just sounds terrifying.
The Cheoah River with NOC was always my favorite class V run. Every time I went, there would be left behind girlfriends and wives in the parking lot waiting while the guys went rafting. I guess it's not for everyone but I used to be a little crazier.
You're right about the kayaks. I'd have to get the right towers to put the rack back on my car. It's been a long time!

G'morning all!
QJB - you gave up and got out of bed, while I haven't even gone to bed yet. No specific reason except for not being able to shut down the brain.
I had an interesting call yesterday. We had asked DD to get her ticket for home for thanksgiving asap so we don't end up paying an arm and a leg when it gets closer the date. She called to see if we are OK with her bringing her bf home. Say what???? That was my internal reaction. My outside reaction was very calm and said of course hon, we can't wait to meet him. The guy is from Virginia and a data analyst. He has swept her off her feet by not mansplaining her. This will be a very interesting thanksgiving.
QOTD: heck yeah! I have done the tandem sky diving and loved it. I really wanted us to do it as a sport but DH is not good with heights. We have done river rafting, and again loved the rush. Hot air balloon looks peaceful, but wait till the burner of your balloon goes out, and you see yourself going towards the power lines over the freeway. Can you say adrenaline rush? The only thing I don't see myself doing is bungee jumping, because I don't like that jerk at the bottom, other than that I'm game for anything.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- TJ chicken fajitas
- Unexpected cheddar spread w/multi seed crackers (this new cheese spread is to-die for)
- Hb egg & toscano cheese w/ cinnamon
- E: 5 miles neighborhood uphill wog
Happy taco Tue.

Hmmmm, she just met his parents last weekend. Yup, big step and terrifying. I hope their relationship stays casual because she has/had plans for grad school in Ireland by next year.

My MIL gave up a planned year abroad in Germany (she was a German major) in college because of a boyfriend. She didn't want to leave him. The relationship didn't last - but her regret over not doing a study abroad is still with her, almost 70 years later. Hopefully your daughter will still go to Ireland, boyfriend or not!
