Good morning! I've been busy this morning being successful with getting things done! Walk, check. Doggie PT, check. Yard put together, check. Housework done, check. Now I just need a shower and blow out my hair and off to my appt with stitches. I know he won't want me to elevate my blood pressure for a couple days, and I've been doing well on walking so I was determined to get one in today first.
I was 100 % on food again yesterday, even though my day had some real booby traps built in. A huge burger with friends. I split one with Rog, 1/4 for me, 3/4 for him and I skipped breakfast. My new recipe last night was topped with "cheddar butter". I mean, what can go wrong with cheddar butter? But I added every single ingredient to MFP and took my measured serving and still came in 100 calories under my goal for the day. And no adult beverages again. At this rate, my blood will be 100% blood and not a high wine to blood ratio when you see me on the 29th!
QoTD: Love Friends and MASH. Relevant to today, not sure...that's cows point of view. (IFKYK)
Menu today:
B: 3 oz crack chicken and 1-2 TBSP cottage cheese
L: 2 oz ham, Cacio e Pepe puffs
D: Roger has a huge pork butt on the smoker right now. If it cooks in time, the plan is sliced pork, corn on the cob, fresh tomato and some oven baked fries for Roger that I will steal one or two of. Expect to see pork on my menu a lot for the next week -- and a bunch will probably still need to be frozen for future meals.
Peace Everybody!
