Good morning, everybody!
Can you believe that in two weeks we will be cavorting under the stars of Costa Mesa?
Best wishes for your procedure, Lisa.
Marilyn got some exciting news yesterday. The Ford dealer called and said that she has been assigned a VIN number for her Bronco. They expect the car will be delivered between October 2 and October 8th. She is super excited, its been over 13 months since she totaled her Pilot.
Of course they said that Ford will send an email with the actual VIN number, and its been crickets ever since. Every time I sit down to the computer, she asks me if the email came. But she gets the same email on her phone and IPAD, so she knows that it didn't.
In any case, this does seem like it is finally moving forward. The plan for our anniversary last year was to get her a kayak (she wants the fishing kind that are foot pedaled), but she didn't want it until she had her Bronco to carry it. We will have to see if they are still being sold in October, I know that last year they sold out by this time.
Usually I go into the office on Thursday, but tomorrow is the American Heart Association Walk, which I signed up for. Since I can park in the office while I do that, I get a badge swipe out of the deal and can stay home today. Win Win.
When we do these type of events, we usually get T-shirts with our company logo on them. One time, my assistant told me that she had never worn a T-shirt in her life and wasn't going to start now. So she doesn't do the events.
I totally screwed up the wine pouring last night. We have these decorative aerators and most of them are animal shaped (elk, bull, etc.). With the animal, it is obvious which direction it faces because the wine comes out of the beast's snout, but last night I tried this cowboy boot that we got in Nashville. That one pours out of the top of the boot and I didn't realize that it had to be oriented correctly. Well I ended up dribbling wine all over the porch table before I gave up and removed it. Only afterwards did I realize that I was pouring with the air hole facing down.
QOTD: I've got nothing here. We used to love the X Files and I watched one of those and it seemed pretty relevant.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: Ham and cheese
Dinner: Hello Fresh
Have a great day, all!

What color Bronco is she getting? I saw a red one and I died, I wanted it so bad. DH thinks I'm suffering g from multiple personality; on one had I have an electric car and feel good about my choice, on the other hand I want a red bronco.

Her color is Cactus Grey. I love the red and Eruption Green as well.

Funny, yesterday I saw a Bronco and wondered if you ever got yours. Now is probably a good time to purchase the kayak as it is getting cooler out.
How could a person never wear a t-shirt? Isnt it part of your usual wardrobe? Mine for sure, especially when I was larger in size. I still like to wear t-shirts but more stylish then before. However, not so much for the company logo.

Not mine, Lol. That's very clear.
I think her gym clothes are along the lines of QJB's meme and work clothes more dressy?
