Your poor toes! Thanks for the advice. I was looking for tape in the pharmacy at the office but no dice. I'll check on my way out of town. Seems it's as big as it's going to get for now! :)

Thanks, very creepy. Just a reminder to stay vigilant. I'd definitely gotten a bit lax being out here away from everything.

I've worked out with it twice and just tried to keep the balance off it. I did skip today for the first time trying to get everything ready for today. I'll be using morning walks while I'm traveling since there aren't any facilities. All movement is good!

That is a scary situation, especially because you are on your own. Add to that, that you are leaving town. I would also let the sheriff know you'll be out of town.

Yep! I'm grateful for even just this one camera I'm getting set up. Long overdue and I'm going to order more to arrive the day I get back. Fortunately, I did let the deputy know. He said they'd send people by to check in the next few days. I hope they do!

I hope you took pictures of this woman around your house.

I developed a habit of taking my phone out and start taking pictures when I encounter things like that. People in my yard, around my house, or around my car. That usually makes people like that to walk away or quickly retrieve.

A few times while at a parking lot I was approached by someone- I started taking pictures. I continue taking pictures if the person got into a car and drove away.

I use toll road (a small local toll road). Sometimes there is a car stopped at the un-manned toll booth-station. Sometimes they are expecting to get change for the toll. I learned not to open my window and just either start blaring my horn, or back my car away from that vehicle - toll booth. One bad experience thought me to be very careful. And I always take pictures of the car specially when I see someone getting out of the car and try to approach my vehicle. PS: that unmanned toll booth/tool road entry is on a rather not frequently traveled side road.

You know, always better to err on the side of caution. I did get a few blurry pictures when she was halfway down my driveway. Those are how the deputy confirmed it was the same person he'd seen in the road.

Sounds like you've been through a lot. Back in the days before cell phones, I used to keep a Kodak Funsaver in my car just in case a camera was needed. In our hyper connected day and age people are more recognizable than ever and don't like being called out in bad scenarios.

Appreciate the call outs, and glad you stay safe and avoid the remote toll. I'm glad I looped in my two closest neighbors (only two within a half mile). They'll check on the house. The camera is a start. All of this is just a good reminder for what you said...stay vigilant. Whew.

Good Morning! It is Friday-Eve, right? I'm needing the weekend so I can focus on some thinking about... stuff. I will stay focused today and tomorrow but need to soul search a bit.
