I just saw the Pumpkin Pie light and fit for the first time; my favorite seasonal is still the creme brûlée but that will be a few months away.

There was a torrential downpour of like 4 inches in a very short amount of time. I live in a garden apartment. The way the sewers are set up, they intentionally flood the streets instead of mixing water. I'm currently airing out my apartment and everything should be fine in a day or two.

When I lived in the LA area years ago, I had a garden patio condo. We were flooded several times during torrential rain. Our patio area had only one drain that couldnt accommodate all the rain and debris coming from the upper stories/roof. After several flooding events the HOA finally installed a second drain into our patio. What a mess, we even had to have some walls tore out due to moisture. I hope you dry quickly and nothing was ruined in the flooding.

Good Morning Menuers !
Feels nice to post on the main thread for a change . I've had an absolutely hectic few days starting my " new normal " ( which I'm not at all sure Ill be able to keep up)
My new schedule seems to be sculpture class from 8:30 Am to 9:30 Pm six days per week with paperwork , medical commitments, travel to obtain materials n tools sometime during the day and a single day per week to get country house ready for tenants in late November ( means fixing heating and several ho****er pipes including two hours driving each way and zero time for laundry cleaning or doing dishes or chores .
Hopefully it'll feel better next week . Fellow sculpture students and poses are amazing ... and on a positive note I might get a Dean's scholarship :)
here are some pics of my fellow students efforts just nine hours into the pose - most are over life size .
yesterday - short rib sandwich carrots and snow peas Greek salad ( ff dressing) with fat free feta cheese babaganoush and fresh bread .
b- chocolate mousse berry/cherry smoothie.
-l - corn and black bean salad , large beans in garlic Vinaigrette. Risotto cake w cheese.-
s- pear and plum mini tart w/out crust
I dont see any pictures...

Good Morning to Everyone,
I had an enjoyable weekend. Friday, I felt really tired and lackluster so I ended up not going to yoga (maybe dehydrated from all the sweating) but did do a 45 minute walk just to move. Saturday, DD, her friend, and I went to my friends lake house for the painting party, which was pretty fun, then just some relaxing. Due to all the smoke from the local fires it has been more cool out. Much too cool (maybe 78 degrees) for me to get in the water so I did not kayak at all. In fact, I have put my kayak away for the season (Suspended from the ceiling in my garage). Sunday, before we left for home, we went on a 3.7 mile walk. However, the fatigue continued to stay with me plus my GI system had been in an uproar since Friday (twingy like I had eaten something that didnt agree with me, frequent soft BMs) making it difficult to really rehydrate. I am not too sure the Chick Boom Pop everyday is the culprit, so I have changed up my snack routine. Yesterday, my stomach finally feels better and toward evening my tiredness started to release a bit. I am still working on hydrating and making sure my nutrition is spot on. I did attempt to get some extra sleep also, but that didnt seem to make a difference.
QOTD: I do like pumpkin pie in small amounts. The spices are what makes it. I prefer other varieties over it like pecan, apple, cherry...
Accountability: Excellent
B: triple zero greek yogurt with keto granola, blueberries, cold brew with half n half
L: Summer salad with chicken, light poppy seed dressing
S: protein frosty
D: Asian chicken salad with sesame ginger dressing
S: protein frosty
E: 60 minutes Power yoga
Have a terrific tuesday.
