QOTD- I love pumpkin pie, and pumpkin muffins, and pumpkin scones and... I usually buy one and eat it slowly. My roommate prefers sweet potato pie, no.

My roommates mad at me because I trimmed the roses. They were out of control and what was growing was not the part that blooms, since most roses are grafted it is that part that was threatening to take over the yard. For some reason he wanted to wait? I'm not sure what for. He'll get over it, but is also mad because I pointed out that the salad dressing he was about to use was mine. So he didn't use it, but is now not speaking to me. I buy stuff he usually doesn't like so I was surprised when he wanted it. We'll have to get through this.

Seahawks won! it wasn't pretty but at least it was a win.

Have a great day everyone!

From the outside looking in, it seems your roommate has a pattern of being disrespectful to you when he is In your space but you are very respectful to him when you were in his space. Hopefully it doesn't get as bad as it was before you moved to Hawaii.

Good morning all and Happy Tuesday,

My apartment flooded Sunday. It's all cleaned up but I was very concerned that I would slip and fall with my cane. I was in a lot more pain than normal yesterday so just spent the day in bed. Here's to a new day!

QOTD - I did get a few forkfuls of pumpkin pie last Thanksgiving. I used to be all about the pumpkin Starbucks coffee but didn't partake last year after surgery. I did try Dannon light and fit pumpkin pie yogurt last week and it was a nice change.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Banana Cream yogurt, tangerine.

L: corned beef.

D:PP shake.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Good morning. There is definitely a hint of real coolness in the air this morning. Yippee!

QJB -- thoughts and long distance hugs going out to your family during this very difficult time.

I was 100 percent successful yesterday for food and beverage. Today, I am dressed to walk down to the local library. I was there yesterday for "Library Monday!" (which is my day to return and check out books and I just love) and saw they had a sign up for beginners chair yoga free today. I figure with the walk and hour session, I can call that some real exercise. I am shy about going by myself, slightly afraid that all the other people will be in their 80's or 90's and that I will look like a fool doing chair exercises, but I need something to get myself motivated. Hoping this helps. Then home to shower and glam up. Going real old school tonight and going to see Chicago in concert. It's at a bayside outdoor venue. I've picked a place for dinner where I know I can stay on track, especially if I stay very good during the day today. I need to avoid their red wine. My mantra for today is mini surgery on Thursday, wine thins blood, better result if I don't have thin blood. Vanity. Whatever it takes. I'm trying it.

I got my OH costume sorted yesterday. Sheila approved the head piece and all!

QoTD: No, not really at all. Not the taste nor the texture. I don't like pie crust at all and never eat that when I do eat pie, but I do love whipped cream.

Menu:

B: 3 oz crack chicken, 1/4 c cottage cheese

L: deli turkey, 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1/2 serving Cacio e Pepe puffs from Trader Joe's

D: a few fresh chicharrons, insides of pork al pastor taco

Peace everybody!

I did chair yoga once. Most of the people are older but they weren't 80 or 90. It is a great way to get out and get moving. Have fun.
