Yeah I am really going to try to stick to dry days. I do have a wedding between now and then but I think I'll be able to handle it. Saturday I had way to may Merlots. I realize the things that I had avoided during weight loss that have crept back in to my diet and I am trying to avoid them like the plague. I wish us both luck.

It is so easy to let food items creep back into the diet. I am trying to be more aware of that when I allow myself more calories on my Saturdays. I notice that sometimes my Saturday eating creeps into Sunday (a big no-no)! or that I experience head hunger for days after. Does anyone else experience energy drops after eating off plan? I seem to notice that I dont tolerate the extra carbohydrates mostly causing a decline in energy level...

Absolutely! Carbs especially kill my energy - so does overeating. Food creep is real, so is indifference creep. It took me so long to not see myself as 300 when I got to 150. Once I got the there I started to slide, a little at first. when covid hit was when I totally let go. I regret that so badly now and worry I have gone to far to even get back to a healthy weight.

I have no doubt you can do it. Hoping the conference puts us back on the path and motivates us. We know what to do we just need the motivation we had in the beginning.

I really appreciate the realism of your comments. It is sobering to realize that it isnt just about losing the weight but also about maintenance of the healthy weight. I am still early in the process of maintenance. I actually enjoy the cleaner foods now versus the junk versions but that doesnt mean I still dont want to have some of the junk variety. Some days it is just the want to snack. I am trying very hard to resist. I notice that I look at myself wondering if I am getting fatter (my weight is stable just being critical). Despite your regrets you are an inspiration in that you recognize where you went wrong, know what you need to do to get back on track, and continue to try to make improvements. The fact that you continue to acknowledge your successes and set-backs is huge, which should help prevent indifference. I believe in you, believe in yourself. I dont think you are too far gone to get back to a healthy weight. You got this.
