Hope your legs feel better!
I loved Reader's Digest as a kid! Had forgotten about it entirely. There was a lot of flipping around to read the little condensed bits at the bottom. Fuzzy memories but good ones!

Good morning! I hope. Today is Brown dog's much anticipated x-ray. He had be doing fabulous. Up to yesterday morning. He squatted to poop (TMI, but if you can't talk poop here, you can't talk it anywhere)as he has everyday and now absolutely refuses to use his leg. We are beyond scared for him. I couldn't go to sleep last night and was awake before the roosters this morning. Very anxious about him.
I'm supposed to have a fun brunch date with a bestie today, but I let her know I can't 100% commit today until I hear from the surgeon. Plus she is on wild fire evac watch. Fun times in San Diego! A hurricane is as close as one has been in years, and it's hot and raining outside already. I love weather, but this could be the funkiest weather I've seen here in a long time.
I was 99% on food yesterday. No beverages with calories. Late last night I had 45 calories worth of meringue cookies I didn't need or particularly want. Anxious eating.
Today I have no clue on food. I'll be at the vet's for breakfast time, brunch is on the fence and I haven't been to the grocery store in 2 weeks. Hopefully Roger and I will go shopping this afternoon and I will be able to make good picks for dinner.
QoTD: I used to get so many every month. Now, just National Geographic. Sometimes I read every word, other times I just scan through it. But all my magazines get sent to one friend or another for multiple viewings, ending up at my hairdresser's. I can't stand the single use thought.
Peace Everybody.

Update. His X-rays are excellent and no swelling. They think he tweaked it and is being cautious and expect it to settle down again in a couple days. Then we get back on track with puppy PT adding more time to our walks up to 60 minutes a day by the end of 6 weeks. And then he is off and running! Yay.
