Good Morning QJB and Menuers,
I got to admit you were spot on when you lumped that Lobster roll into beautiful Maine. Your cookie talent is amazing. Are you sure you don't want to just open a bakery and forget the corporate life. Seems so much nicer than dealing with all the drama in your past positions.
So My thighs are burning this morning from that run yesterday. I couldn't even jump out of bed. I literally crawled. I am super busy the next three mornings so hopefully by Tuesday I will be able to get back out there, Tomorrow I need to be at church at 6AM to help with the men's breakfast. Sunday I will be closing the pool after early church, and Monday morning I have to be at the car dealership at 8am to pick up my rental while Ford makes another attempt to fix my car. I have been waiting since the beginning of June for the parts to come in. They will be replacing the torque converter. I hope this is the answer.
QOTD: No but I loved the short stories in the Readers Digest when I was younger. Is there still a Readers Digest?

I though Jim and Marilyn would appreciate my favorite restaurant on Lake Erie. And a pic of my shrimp and grits. We are having some seafood love going on on the post today.
Here is me on the closest thing I can call a beach in my neck of the woods.

Wow. those shrimp and grits looks so good. I never would have ordered grits but I worked with a southern girl who made grits (definitely not low-fat since she used lots of butter), shrimp with an alfredo sauce. This was pre-WLS, so good.
That beach looks very beachy to me...If you dont live on the coast, we have to make due. If you go to the beach in the Pacific Northwest, it is mostly rocky, pebbled, not sand.

I would love to quit corporate life and open a bakery! Let me know if you all want to chip in to loan me a half million bucks for the seed money and insurance! I'm in!

My BFF had her own bakery for about 5 years; people are bizarre was my take away and also so much hard work -- but you know that part already, running your bakery from home!
