Did they prescribe the ozempic for diabetes management? If they did it for weight loss most likely wont be covered. If that is what they did have the office re-prescribe for diabetes instead.

That is a very cruel curse that comes true way too frequently!

QOTD - nothing unusual here but we do have a two week Stock Show in January that has been going since 1906, it tends to coincide with our coldest weather pretty much every year!

Busy day today, I have to have a difficult conversation with my boss and possibly with one of the people that works for me, but she hasn't been feeling well so may be out which will put it off until next week. I'm good with that!

I have a few household chores plus a mani-pedi tonight, I'm looking forward to that!

Exercise will be a boxing session and maybe a medicine ball session. I'm waiting for them to announce the ifit challenge for September, I think I'll focus on the rowing challenge this month instead of the elliptical.

menu

coffee plus half and half X2

ever roast chicken with slice cheddar

pastrami with slice cheddar

cold brew skyr

Have a terrific Thursday and welcome to SEPTEMBER!!

Aren't "crucial conversations" the worst?!? I'm grateful not to have nearly as many in my current job.

Good morning, everybody!

I'm walking with a little spring in my step today because I successfully used the two tyne wine puller last night. I must say that I now know how the surgeons feel when they stitch up a new pouch or remove a gallbladder or something.

It's such a newb feeling to break a cork in an old bottle of wine. The stare of disbelief, the borrowing of the chopstick from my youngest, the pushing of the crumbly old cork into the bottle, the gurgling and straining and decanting. Does it affect the taste of the wine? Only insofar as the cloud of shame taints it.

Normally, I will make the blunder of starting with the regular corkscrew and then try and switch to the two tyne when the going gets tough. That never works. The other issue that I have is not putting the two tyne puller in deep enough before trying to extract.

But last night, I strode confidently to the counter, unsheathed the two tyne, sank it deep into the bottle, twisted and pulled!

Voila. No cloud of shame. No awkward chopstick requests, no crumbles.

We gnawed at some of the subpar Stilton, but there is still a ton left.

QOTD: I can't think of anything good.

Breakfast: Protein Bar

Lunch: Chicken

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!

Ok, I am definitely confused. What is a two tyne? I looked it up online and golf equipment came up.
