Good morning! We are on extreme hea****ch here for the next few days AND heading to Arizona to see my Dad at the end of the week where it is even hotter. So right out of the gate QoTD...Fall. Please come Fall and bring your low 70 degrees with you. My next exciting thing will be an RV trip planned to wine country with friends. I shifted our calendar around a bit, and so we are going to the OH conference (bringing the dogs with us, dog friendly hotel and oversize parking available for the rig) then up to Avila Beach, over to Paso Robles and then I cleared another entire week for us to go off by ourselves. Not sure what destination yet. Rog is sitting with the map, schedule and computer right now. This has been one of our goals post retirement. Just get in the RV and leave.

I did really well on food yesterday and not so great on wine. Added an extra glass. Brown dog made it up to 16 laps and we are going big today and trying for 20. It took me a whole 12 minutes to get in the 16 laps, so you can see that 20 shouldn't be too stressful on me. We'll see how he does. I think he looks forward to it because it's the only time he gets to stretch out his legs and smell the roses to boot. Also need to schedule a vitamin pick up and grocery shopping for the trip to my Dad's. I much prefer my grocery store to his and am happy to pack in supplies.

Menu

B: must cook up some bacon before I leave, so bacon and a fried egg]

L: Costco pre pulled and packaged rotisserie chicken and 1 oz white cheddar cheese. Possibly 10 pop chips for crunch factor

D: On the fence here. Maybe serve up the crack chicken on rice for the guys and another spinach salad. Maybe make them take me out to dinner. It's so hot!

Peace Everybody!

Sorry about your bad news yesterday QJB. I hope today is better. It seems that this week I have been focused on food. I know it is head hunger but it doesnt make it easier to deal with. I do chew a lot of gum to keep my mouth busy. My accountability last night sucked, as I ate Chick Boom Pop kettle corn from the bag and demolished it. . Not too happy with myself. I have decided that I need to put the popcorn on the back burner and only allow it on my up calorie day (usually Saturday). So I am revamping my evening snack routine to accommodate this change. I want something that I can look forward to though. I do think I have come up with a solution. I do sympathize on the eating your feelings.

My blackberry bushes are producing copius amounts of fruit. DD and I made a blackberry pie yesterday to use up some of the berries (still have a couple of pints available). I took one bite and thought it turned out pretty good.

QOTD: A trip to Mexico with DD, my sister, BIL, and their kids. Going to the Four Seasons ***** Mita. We are planning on a zipline adventure that includes ATV ride, donkey ride, rappelling down a waterfall, plus the ziplines. Otherwise, some relaxation in the sun and on resort activities like kayaking, hiking, making a cocoa bar.

B: triple zero Greek yogurt with collagen, keto granola, blueberries, cold brew with half n half

L: summer salad with chicken, poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty

D: Asian chicken salad with sesame ginger dressing

S: 4 squares sf chocolate, I am replacing the popcorn with zero sugar chobani yogurt, 1.5c unsweetened almond milk, 4 tbsp. sf instant pudding mix (chocolate), 4 ice cubes blended then frozen. Similar to the protein frosty but less calories.

E: 60 minutes hot power yoga

Have a wonderful Wednesday.
