This is my favorite "hey girl" variation. I would do illegal things for a good cheesecake. Did you guys ever see the Friends episode when they steal the cheesecake from a neighbor? When Joey comes over and eats it from the floor... one of my favorite moments ever on TV!
Bahhh I had a terrible day yesterday. I don't even want to talk about it, but I got really bad news around 3pm, and I chose to deal with my feelings by making bad choices. I skipped dinner, drank hard seltzer, and ate popcorn for dinner. Then I was hungry before bed and had two cheese sticks. I also ate 2 of my own cookies, which I never have, because they give me RH (and they delivered! UGH). Not a healthy way to handle my feelings at all but I won't pretend I did anything different. You know it's bad when I skip taco Tuesday... Ok. Deep breaths. New day today.
First of all, before we start the QOTD... so many Starbucks haters here! Whew. I thought I knew you all, lol!
QOTD: What is the next exciting thing you are looking forward to? I am super excited that I am meeting up with some OH friends for a quick little vaca this weekend! Who, you ask? Haha, nope! I will leave it as a cliff hanger surprise until Monday but I am so excited to do this! One person I have met before (maybe in 2017?) and the other person I have never met in person.

QOTD - Oktoberfest! Not the one in Germany. There's a fun town that's been doing a Bavarian themed version for over 50 years. It's fun to go, watch people, and spend time with my family.
Feeling kind of bloated today. I've been battling one whole pound all week and am amazed at my body's ability to stall so often! Lots of meetings today, including one where I'm presenting. Up early to exercise and then work on my deck. Well, and up because I got a new mask for my cpap yesterday and it woke me up all night. I gave up on sleep a couple hours ago. Will fiddle with it more today but making the best of being up even earlier than usual!
Exercise - imminent elliptical! Followed by protein shake

Lunch - three ounces of crock pot cube steak and mushrooms
Snack - two ounces of turkey lunch meat with mustard

QOTD - Bringing baby boy home once he syncs up. I am running on fumes between trying to recover, playing catch up at home with the other kids/household stuff and preparing for bringing baby home, pumping, going to NICU, etc. I will be happy when we are in the "next"
B - morning coffee w/ 8 oz soy milk
L - some sort of protein, (probably leftover chicken thighs I seasoned and cooked in the crockpot earlier this week), maybe some extra sharp cheddar
D- lately it has been 1/4 cup dry oats, water, cinnamon + 2 T brewer's yeast, 1 heaping T. sunflower lecithin, frozen blueberries, 2 packets of splenda, 1/3 bar of Lily's extra dark chocolate, splash of soymilk
S - I really need to revamp my snacks but I am addicted to baked lays. I am trying to reign that in and boost my nutrition a bit more strategically right now.
I am on track about 75% with vitamins - I need to do better with my calcium. My labs are off but mostly due to the demands of the pregnancy. I am continuing to work to improve my labs WRT low protein, low iron and low calcium but it will just take time and diligence. I take Bariatric Advantage of multi, high dose iron, calcium and recently ordered their probiotic to help with my gut after weeks of "nuclear" antibiotics.

well you are so mysterious for the meetup.
I had part 9000 of the tooth implant saga. this time the impressions for the crown were done and sent off to the place. hopefully in 203 week I will have a very expensive tooth.
QOTD: we are on vacation starting the 15th so that is SOON! we decided to hop back to carnival this time since it is the newest ship at the moment and will be the second largest we have been on. we will see... it does have a roller coaster and a ropes course/zip line.
i have calls until 11 today hopefully i can get real work done after..

Good mornin everyone. JB I hope your day is better than yesterday. My day ended on a sour note as well, not horrible but just left my mood in the gutter.
I have an appointment today with the cataract eye specialist. I don't know if he'll do the laser thing today or at a later time, I am hoping for today. I don't like this doctor. He kept referring to me as he at our first appointment and said it was because of my voice..whateva. He is just an ass. My voice is not even very deep. I just wish I didn't have to go. Hopefully it's just one appointment and done,
Other than that not much planned. Never did hear back from my doctors nurse so I sent in a message to my doctor via the patient portal. The Ozempic just needs a prior authorization.
QOTD: my appointment with the new neurosurgeon's office in late September. I've grown so sick of the waiting, I just wanted to scream last night thinking about it. I'm ready for my back to be taken care of and I hate waiting.
Accountability: I hate a little bit of cotton candy and some wethers caramels
