My son in law wondered if we would go as far as a doggy wheelchair and we said Yep! Doggie Insurance. That's happening with the next new pup we get. We are checking into it for brown dog, but think his current injury disqualifies him going forward.

I have that buttermilk chicken in my freezer. If it would cool off long enough to use the oven without dying, that would be great!

Amy! I peeled a sweet potato, then sliced it in 3/4" discs. I put those at the bottom of a small roasting pan. I put the chicken on top and liberally sprinkled finely grated parmesan cheese over it. I put one slice of bacon down the long end of each side of the pan. I roasted it at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Took the bacon out and chopped it up and put that over a spinach and tomato salad. Chopped the chicken in half (this was definitely a little birdie in his previous life) and then plated a couple of discs of potato. It was a one dish meal and was excellent!

QOTD- I'd pick a horse, with a bike back-up.

Not a Starbucks fan, I too think that their coffee tastes burnt. They over-roast their beans and hence the burnt flavor. I have an Espresso machine that has saved me a ton over the years. My morning routine is a non-fat Fairlife mocha made with Ghirardelli unsweetened cocoa and Truvia. I love the Fairlife because it is so high in protein and no lactose. Which I usually follow with a black coffee. But lately my stomach hasn't been liking the black coffee.

Still dealing with some residual vertigo, so I feel unbalanced but it hasn't been enough to make me vomit so I can live with it. I have learned to not move my head quickly.

OK I found my scale, and I'm only up 9lbs which makes me feel better, at one point is was 12-13lbs so I'll take that. Once I get this house unpacked I plan to start back to at least walking. And focus on losing those pounds. I need to break-up with wine.

Have a great day everyone!

I forgot FOOTBALL opening game Oregon against Georgia, the Ducks are 17 point underdogs so I'm not expecting much. But it is football.
