Thank you so much for that!
I am extremely hard on myself...way way to hard. If I just showed myself even just a little compassion I'd prob be a lot happier.

Good morning and happy Monday! I am ready for this week because there is a fun filled long weekend at the end of it! I am also ready for summer to be over, it's been hot hot hot!
Weekend was good, I surprised my friends by setting dinner before the comedy show at a sushi restaurant but I had noticed they had vegetarian sushi so I gave that a try - my roll was asparagus, umeboshi, rice and the seaweed wrap. I had ginger pork gyoza and all the real sushi people enjoyed the surprise and their nasty raw fish, lol. Craig Ferguson was great, better than when I last saw him in 2018! If he comes near you on this tour, highly recommend! The arts festival was fantastic and I was glad we were there early and done early too. It was hot!
Nothing big besides work on the agenda today, I already did my elliptical, first full workout I've done since recovering from Covid that I didn't have to stop or slow way down on so yay!!
qotd - my dog gypsy was a rescue (who came with that name) and no matter what I was doing, if I was in the house she had to be touching me. I'd be cooking dinner and she'd lay a full legs length away and put her paw on my foot. She was a good pup!
menu today
egg and English muffin
everroast chicken and slice cheddar
left over pizza
Have a great day everyone!

I am not ready for summer to go away but I dont feel that it has been as hot in my area for as long as some of you out there.
My mini goldendoodle also lays across my feet when I am cooking but more to let me know he is there and is willing to accept whatever scraps that I give him or "falls" on the floor. Little piggy.

Good morning ~ Yummm, bacon! I think your lunch calls for a lobster roll on the Cape! Enjoy your day, girl. We had a a nice chill weekend with a lot of extra carbs. I thought I would be better with the spikes in mind, but since my monitor fell off on Saturday - the accountability went out the window on Sunday. I have another, but I don't want to waste it. I have to admit that seeing the monitor after it fell off grossed me out. I know it's not a needle, but I was surprised by the significant plastic/wire like fiber that had been in my arm this whole time. I don't know why it bothers me so.
Back at full accountability this week - set up for success food wise and mentally prepared. Football season starts next week (college) so Saturday is now my day to hike where ever I want for as long as I want. Rob isn't always down to go, so I compromise a lot. Found some new trails close by which is great. Ordered new shoes for motivation - I'm excited.
QOTD - Oh, quirky animals for the win! Our little Pom Sunny is the sweetest little guy ever but when he doesn't get his way or he wants something - he gets mad. He snorts, huffs and puffs and growls - it's the funniest thing ever this 5 pounds of fluff demanding satisfaction.
Accountability - all the carbs
B- coffee, my egg bites - I'm obsessed! The poached eggs didn't turn out well but I will try them again.
l - just chicken, blue cheese, franks buffalo sauce, celery sticks
d -my meatballs, sauce and tossed salad
e - One more down, I have 3 more challenge workouts to go and 3 days to do it - I got this.
Have a great day!

Sorry your poached eggs aren't what you wanted. I ended up using 55ml of water to get the liquid yolk I crave.
Good luck on your last three workouts! You've got this!

I tried 70, the whites were way too firm and there was barely any liquid yolk. I will give 55 a try - thank you!!

Yuck! runny, liquid egg yolk. Scrambled or as a quiche is the only way to eat eggs.
