Hiii to your sweet fur babies!
The trash story is so interesting. I am just amazed that there doesn't seem to be any industry anywhere in America that is not severely short staffed. Lord knows we certainly don't have enough teachers to go around!

Our garbage is only picked up weekly. Recycling every other week. We also have a shortage of sanitation personnel. Lately, our green bins have to be picked up on another date due to this shortage.

Love the pictures of the kitties. Adorable.
I live outside city limits, so we have to pay for trash pickup and recycle. For a long time, when I was single, and even after Keith moved in with me, I took the little trash I generated to work. Recycle - the a dump for recycle stuff.
App 2 years ago we finally signed up for a garbage pick up, but Keith still takes the recycle to the recycle place the bins or the dump) we have weekly pick up. But seldom we have more than 2 bags of garbage.
PS: When I was taking trash to work (I'm part owner at work) it was no more than 1 bag of trash per week. When I traveled - it was a very small bag. My home has a uphill (both ways- LOL) driveway and dragging the partially empty trash can up the driveway, then get it back when I got home, was more challenging than double bagging the trash and taking it to work. Plus I never had to deal with a really rancid smell. Any trash that had any food packaging - was taken care of the very next day. That also made it supper easy when I traveled. At work - we had an industrial dumpster, that was picked up once a week. Just recently we got double sized dumpster. I sometimes still take some trash to work - specially in summer when I know I have bones or other "bad food items" that would be in my garbage can more than 3 days.
Plus any bigger items - Keith takes to the Dump.

Plans for the weekend are the pound class tomorrow morning. Basically Squats and lunges while pounding drum sticks on the floor. Then mom duty and planning on some pool time. I have to be out the door by 3:30pm for the wedding but I want to be a little sun kissed before I go. Sunday will early church, maybe breakfast out, pool time, and I have to be back at church because I volunteered to help replenishing food for the picnic. The kids are all so cute! I tried a cardio drumming class last year and really liked it; I keep meaning to get drumsticks to recreate it at home!

I'm on FB and Instagram as Sunshine Day Bakery. Please find me!
And this is my website. Unfortunately, state laws prohibit home bakers from selling and shipping out of state, so I can only do local pick up and delivery.
