What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
I love the NSV since it is something then just the scale to track progress. Like when you fit into that XL shirt! Next you will need to buy new clothes since everything in your closet is too big. I would suggest looking a second hand boutiques until you reach your goal weight. I still love going to second hand stores for clothes since you can find such great deals.

You lose at your own pace and don't listen to anybody. Think about it, before WLS you would have been on the 9th cloud having lost 20 lbs in 6 weeks. Celebrate your losses and enjoy the process.

Unfortunately, social media also gives people the wrong idea about the pace of weight loss. In my job I get patients asking about their progress compared to unbelievable weight loss that has been posted on Facebook WLS support sites.

From one tea snob to another: Try company: Cusa Tea and Coffee. Instant tea and coffee that don't taste instant. Cold brewed coffee and tea, no additives, individual portions. I LOVE LOVE some of the tea and coffee. My fav are green or black peach or mango teas, apple spice tea and some other herbal teas. Absolutely love them. And so easy to make a mug or a thermos. They taste very mellow, but both, black and green have some caffeine, enough caffeine. Same as coffee. I drink the diluted green teas almost all day.
Coffee - my favorite are the medium roast ad the mocha. Not bitter or acidic. Absolutely love them.
Get some samples before Nestlé buys them and destroy the brand.
BTW: I always get some tea when we travel to Europe.

Thank you for sharing! I definitely haven't seen this brand before and hadn't seen anything that counts as good for instant. This could be a great grab and go! I use to have a travel steeping kit years ago but it's a bit of a pain. This will be good to try on my next bout. I invested in some Harney and Sons decaf for now, so working through that. I'm curious since the pictures on the website show cut tea leaves but I'm assuming it's a powder form. This will be fun!
I hear you on Europe! I would take tea both ways across the ocean and got used to being singled out for extra security even after taking the containers out. I also learned German mustard and Dutch mini cheese wheels will flag in security, too. I am always prone to veering off into tea, cheese, or specialty food shops. Good times!

It's instant - all individual bags. I have them on subscription. The ones I love.
It mixes in hot or cold. Its is great on the go and when traveling. I don't have to worry about over-stepping, etc. I drink app 100-140 oz of liquids. At least 1/2 of that are now the Cusa tea.
We are going on a 8 days vacation and I'm brining my coffee and tea with me.

Good mornin everyone, wishing you all a good day and weekend ahead.
Not a lot planned for the day. We are supposed to go over to my brothers to help with something. I'm pretty much there for moral support as I've been in a lot of pain, more so than usual, so there isn't much I can do there. My SIL has been doing a lot on her own...taking stuff to Goodwill and the dumpsters where she works. Our city is in the midst of a trash crisis. The city is short 30 or so drivers for the solid waste department. The boss over it all sucks and a lot of our city is overflowing with trash. Our dumpster is on.y being emptied once a week...full or not. Just such a mess!
No plans for the weekend that I know of.
QOTD: crafting stuff...esp jump rings, clasps and beads that I never use.
B: JUST egg cup + coffee
L: lettuce boat with sandwich stuff inside
D: maybe some tortilla-less tortilla soup
L: pepitas, almond butter and maybe a cheese stick.

Sounds like your SIL is making progress on the hoarding? I know that has been a big concern for your family so that's great news!!
When your waste company is fully staffed, do they usually pick up multiple times a week? I've only ever lived where they do weekly (and here recycle is only biweekly which kills me when I miss due to work travel). I'm always curious how things work other places.

We have a weekly pick up of trash, recycle and green/garden waste. I didn't realize in some places recycle isn't picked up as often as trash. Looking down on our street and each house, our trash cans are actually smaller than our recycle cans.

She says she is...the kids do too.
we usually had twice a week pick up. There are five houses on this one dumpster and nobody here recycles on a household basis. It's overflowing pretty much every week.
There is A LOT of other stuff with Amarillo and it's leadership. lol it's Texas after all.
