What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

True! When I told my dentist I gave up iced tea and red wine he said WHHHYYYY??? Don't rob yourself of joy. It's easier now that I only wear them at night. I do what I want!

I had braces as a high schooler. I have permanent metal retainers on the back of my front teeth. Recently one of the retainers broke so 2 teeth are no longer being retained into placed. I have noticed a gap appearing in that area. I looked into invisalign to get rid of the gap. I was shocked at the price.

I needed, but never got braces as a kid. I got Invisalign when I was 49 and needed the entire treatment - it took 3 years. I have the permanent retainer on the bottom, but my ortho no longer does this on top teeth - I don't remember why. I still wear the invisalign retainer on bottom because as soon as I stopped, my back teeth started moving and throwing off my bite. My insurance covered some of it but for me it was worth every penny.

That's my aunt's driveway; it wanders from the main road all the way back to her house and really makes you feel like you are escaping the rest of the world!

Mornin' All!
we're taking the moms to lunch today - but we'll have to go in separate cars because MY mom wants to go to LL Bean and Bed Bath and Beyond afterwards, and his doesn't. OK - whatever. Nothing else on the agenda for today. Tomorrow we're taking his mom to a farm animal sanctuary a couple of hours from here (not sure my mom would be interested - plus she has mobility issues to boot). Other than that, not much on tap for the weekend. Hopefully the weather will cooperate so I can get some bike rides in.
QOTD: purses. I have to avoid going over to the handbag section every time I'm in a store that sells them because I'll invariably find one that I think I can't live without. I already have enough purses to last 100 years!
B: protein oatmeal topped with plain skyr and fruit. Coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: we're going to a Chinese place for lunch. Will order a "safe" entree - eat half of it and punt most of the rice. Or split an entree with my mother if we can agree on one.
AS: probably nothing
D: matzo ball soup or the chicken/peach/power greens salad (yet again...)
have a great day, everyone!

I bought a million purses when I was heavy because I loved being able to buy pretty accessories without worrying about the fit. I don't think I have bought more than 2-3 new purses since surgery!

I dont even carry a purse. I never have. I prefer to stick money in my pocket, my phone case has a place to put cards-which I keep my driver's license and debit card. Sucks when I dont have pockets though.

I carry a big shoulder bag - always! I need all the things and a place to put stuff so I don't have to carry anything in my hands.
