Happy Fri-YAAAAY, Gang!

Let's just start with my crap accountability yesterday. Before I was finished writing the thread yesterday, Grim decided to make 4 trays of bacon. Needless to say my plans for breakfast went out the window. And... lunch too. I basically just grabbed a slice of bacon every time I wandered through the kitchen all day. And I also totally dropped the ball on exercising. I did the hyper-focus thing again and literally decorated cookies for 15 hours straight yesterday without even noticing that the day was over.

Any plans for the weekend? I don't have anything going on at all. I have dreams of going up to the attic to do some next-level organizing! Maybe I will attempt to be social but no plans yet!

QOTD: What are you a sucker for buying, even if you don't need it? Too many things, tbh, but I am so easily lured into buying craft supplies that I do not need. I made a promise to myself that I will not buy anything new until I actually use up the supplies I have this year while I am not working.

B: Fit Frappe Mocha in hot coffee & 2 egg whites with feta

L: Veggie burger with cheese

D: The last of the insides of fish tacos! (I love that one meal out lasts for 5 meals!)

Exercise: Stationary Bike

I like that little bit of self affirmation in your meme; I need to get a removable magnet like that, lol.

I have another run of busy weekends coming; looking at the calendar I think I have one weekend between now and early October that isn't completely scheduled but it will all be fun! I have a wine & whine zoom session with a friend tonight; tomorrow is Craig Ferguson and dinner with friends, and Sunday I'm meeting a friend at the Affordable Arts Festival which is a fun raiser for the local comm. college (you buy an entry ticket) but all the artists sell for $100 or less...and I have a few specific type of things I'm looking for, plus it's just a nice morning out with my friend!

QOTD - books and tea. I am currently on a drink all the tea you have program vs buying any new; no plans to address the books issue, lol.

Menu today:

coffee plus half and half X2

Greek yogurt with figs

Smoked cheddar and GF crackers
slice pizza

glass of wine

Well, I feel like Invisalign might help me drop a few pounds, they are such a pain to get off and on that I'm just not interested in any snacks!

I will do the elliptical this morning.

No new pix this week so here are two from my trip to Tennessee for the eclipse in 2017!

Have a great weekend!

Have fun at Craig Ferguson! I have always thought he's hilarious both as a stand-up and when he hosted the late night talk show

You buying tea sounds like my DD. She has a huge selection of tea but always wants to buy more when we see new local teas. Not so much the national chain teas.

Agree about eating and invisalign! What a pain, right? I never realized how much I tasted or a bite of this or that. Eye opener. Also watch out for staining from coffee, tea, red wine... rinse rinse rinse. I switched to white wine, lol.

They told me to use a straw for my wine and cold drinks so I only stain the back, lol.

There was a woman who worked in my ortho's office that had Invisalign. She didn't care and drank coffee all day, every day and it looked pretty gross. I never heard about the straw!

My hygienist is very young (mid 20s) and she's very into "live your life with Invisalign". And said things like "if you're on vacation and day drinking or going on a winery trip, just wear them when and you and always to sleep, you have to enjoy life!!" I love her
