What's on your Wednesday Menu, Old Friends?
QOTD- Moved back from Maui, bought a house and I'm finally in it. But it is chaos boxes still everywhere. I also said goodbye to my Sammy cat, I miss him so much.
I've been dealing with vertigo the last couple of days and wasn't able to work. I'm cautiously optimistic that today will be better, I didn't start it by vomiting so I consider that a win. I think it might just be that I'm exhausted mentally and physically, I've let the stress get to me.
Congrats QJB on your new direction in life. It sounds like you will have a great year! I loved school and was sorry when I got my BS degree, but decided it wasn't worth pursuing a higher degree as I'm too far down the road in my career and too close to retirement to make the financial commitment.
I may try to get my office back together, I have 2 more monitors that I need to get set up. But I did find my Baby Yoda aka Grogu so life is good.
Have a great day everyone!

Is your vertigo benign postural? If yes, have you tried the epley maneuver?

QJB, welcome back! We have missed your posts here. It is great that you are excited for the next adventure of school and your cookie business. I enjoyed getting my Master of Science in Nursing (completed Sept 2021), it is invigorating learning new concepts and skills.
Yesterday, DD and I went to the lake to kayak. Unfortunately, the water was super choppy, making the time on the water no fun. We only kayaked for about 15 minutes then abandoned our plans. I will try again this weekend (probably Sunday). It turned out to be a semi-rest day from the workout.
I am trying to make future plans for spring break travels since this is DS's senior year of high school. Which means that after this year there is no guarantee that he will be traveling with us on vacation. However, who can refuse a free vacation when they are in college? Does anyone have any suggestions on fun places to travel. The spring break is the first week of April so I dont want to go anywhere there might be a lot of rain or cold weather. DD would love to go to Alaska, but neither DH or DS are big outdoor enthusiasts.
QOTD: I had an internal hernia in January repaired, then gallbladder and incisional hernia surgery in March. Visiting family, working on clearing out the family home (my FIL passed away) in Montana, kayaking on the weekends, starting hot yoga and Pilates. Generally keeping busy with gardening (vegetables and fruits).
