If you move the ice around, that's movement and movement is exercise!

Humpty Hump, all!
JB, its great to see you back! If you have accounting questions for your classes fire away.
So shortly after surgery, me and both my sons were the same size. (My youngest is now much thinner) And we were all wearing the same size Levis 506. It was making laundry a pain for Marilyn. So something had to give.
With much ballyhoo and assistance on OH, I decided to buy grown up jeans. With help from Sheila and others, I bought four different brands to try. One of which was a splurgy pair of Tom Ford.
The TF jeans were a little intimating at first: I didn't know what occasion to wear them for, didn't want to get them dirty, etc. So they sat unworn for several months. Then COVID hit and pants were no longer a thing.
Finally, with the reluctant return to work I have been wearing the TF jeans, and:
OMG I Love Them!!
They are the most comfortable, best fitting jeans that I have ever worn. I covet more pairs. Unfortunately, they did not go down in price during COVID. Even though we were all in this together, they seem to have gone from splurgy to bat**** crazy over the last three years. So, I am in a conundrum.
I may have to commission Hilary to search for some pairs that aren't at full retail.
My doctor week continues. Today is an annual with the Ophthalmologist at 9:45. So I have that, recover, lift and then head into the city for a work social event. I keep asking whether the event was fake and kept being told "no it isn't and we really need people to show up.'" Poop.
QOTD: We are officially empty nesters. Both boys are off at school and my daughter is off in her career. It's only been a few days, so we are still adjusting to that. Teenie and others, say that the decorative glassware that we bought on our cruise is symbolic of being engaged in a swinger lifestyle. Yikes.
Also, I'm going to Blondie on Saturday night.
Breakfast: Protein Bar
Lunch: Roast Beef
Dinner: Work event. Probably Junk.
Have a great day, all!

So me not being fashion-forward at all, I Googled Tom Ford jeans. I'm impressed that one pair of jeans equals two months of mortgage payments! Kind of reminds me of Burberry stores. Best of luck finding some not quite full-priced ones!
Good luck with the social engagement that just won't quit.

I probably would have just written my name in the inside tag vs switching to dad/mom jeans, lol

Congrats on empty nesting! That's a really big milestone! Not as big as deciding to become swingers, but... no judgement here ;)
