Good morning, everybody!

I picked Marilyn up from the airport at around 11:30 last night. We are both tired, although she has done a lot more driving round trip to Alabama and one way to Denver within the last week.

Both boys are settled into school and started classes yesterday. Our cleaning lady cleaned both boys rooms yesterday, I think that she has been dyeing to do it for years.

I have a work social event on my calendar for tomorrow night and I keep re-checking to make sure its really there. I don't want to go. As it is, I am in the office today and Thursday and then back in on Saturday. I really don't need Wednesday night as well. I am hoping against hope that it is fake.

Also, I have three doctor's appointments this week.

I am intrigued by Mike's low carb bagels as well.

QOTD: Chicago get surprisingly little snow. Around Halloween is the earliest I remember and April is the latest. But neither were memorable quantities.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Steak

Dinner: TBD. Marilyn may have tennis

I hope you and Marilyn are able to enjoy some rest time for a bit. I'm sure the house will seem quiet at first but you guys will find a groove.

It's so cathartic cleaning the rooms. I even put a odor absorbent in his room to get rid of that "boy smell"!

At first I was nervous that the cleaning lady stole Marilyn's thunder, but she was thrilled to come home to the rooms clean. She is doing a massive laundry of sheets and towels today.

I'm so jealous of your eager cleaning lady! I may have some movement on Rob - If I can arrange for the cleaning lady to come while he is out of the house golfing - he says he would be okay with that!
