What's on your Thursday Menu everyone?

Good morning! A bit mad at myself this morning. I was 100 % on food yesterday, but an abject failure in the wine department. We had our usual Wednesday night dinner guest, and the wine flowed way to freely. On a good note, I did not seem to aggravate my gastritis. On a bad note I did not seem to aggravate my gastritis. It's way easier for me to just say no when my gut is aching.

Today we have to drive the 2.5 hours to pick up the finally completely repaired RV. Got it in just under the warranty expiration date and it needed quite a few things. And I got new flooring. That's the huge win. It's shocking how the dealership is like, well, it's two years old...you were not planning on keeping this one for ever are you? Do you want to look at trading it in? F no I don't want to look at trading it in. WTH?

OH! I finally went and got my library card this week. It's been on my to do list for four and half months. So I set up with check out both physically and electronically. I am reading Ordinary Monsters right now. Not even close to my usual genre, but I am enjoying it. When I can keep the different super natural beings straight that is.

QoTD: Reading a great book in a little bit of sunshine is probably my best thing. Cooking something new and fun for dinner would be second.

Menu is completely up in the air today due to long, boring road trip, but for dinner, it's going to be the gyros, salad, tzatziki and naan bread. For sure.

Peace Everybody!

Dont you just hate the hard sell when it comes to things you have every intention of keeping? How long have you been without your RV? Must be hard during prime season to be without it.

I use my library card all the time. I use to buy books but got tired of the expense and having already read books lying around. I get almost all of my books electronically now. Plus the library has a waiting list/hold option if there are no copies available. Then if it becomes available but your not ready you can request a later delivery of the book so the next person in line can read it. It is a great option.

It's been in the shop since June 15th!!! RV repair has a terrible reputation for turn time. So we missed using it this summer, and now it's too hot around here to consider using it. So it's going into storage today for probably at least a month or 6 weeks until we can get to October and have some cooler days.

I get letters and emails all the time from our car dealer (we both have Honda Civics that we bought used) wanting to know if we want to trade them in. Although DH has several miles on his (it's a 2013), mine is a 2015 and only has 42K miles on it. I've barely broken the thing in! Our previous Hondas we've kept for c. 17 years and had over 200K miles on them. So nope...not trading them in for a L-O-N-G time!

Hope your biopsy goes quickly, is nothing, and you're able to get on with your healthy life. It's never fun when you get a wrench in your plans.
