Mornin'!
annual eye exam at 1:40 today. I may go on a popular biking route this morning - 28 miles RT. If I leave soon, I should easily be able to get back long before my exam (as long as I don't have a flat tire or anything!). I haven't done this one before because I've been worried about steep hills - although maybe the hills aren't bad, and of course I can always turn around and come back if they are. Not much else going on today, although I have a lot of things I need to catch up on.
QOTD: exercise (esp biking - no big surprise there!). If I can't do that, I get on my laptop and do mindless surfing.
B: protein oatmeal topped with plain skyr and apple compote. Coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: curry chicken/cherry salad
AS: protein muffin
D: power greens topped with chicken strips, diced peach, and light dressing
have a great day, everyone!
Good Morning Mel and Menuers,
Missed you guys yesterday. I had a PCP appointment and work just got to busy to post. He looked at my toes and does not seem to concerned. He did not say do not run so that was good but I took off today and maybe get back at it tomorrow. I may go to the county fair this evening. I love to see all the animals. I never stay on top of it but some year I am going to enter one of the baking contest to see if I can pull out a win. I think I could nail it with that pumpkin cheesecake for sure.
QOTD: First I head to my bible. When I am struggling and I am mad I find scripture to combat what is the problem and pray about it. Philippians 4:6-7 is always a go to when I am anxious. 2nd is a good run. Then if I do not clear it I eat. I try not too but sometimes that peanut butter jar is very comforting.

5) Rapture
It's in Chicago, but not sure of the size of the facility. It's not a stadium.
Marilyn has the youngest moved into his Dorm Room. He was able to get a single this year and is happy about that. Today they have a little shopping to do, are going to lunch and she will head home at about 2:00. She isn't going to try and make it in one day with the late start.
I need to clean up the kitchen from my other son's midnight meals. Although I don't like cleaning, it is reassuring to see the dishes in the kitchen each morning - at least I know he is well.
I have an appointment with the sleep Doctor this morning. It's a low stress appointment, but a pain because I have to go into the city for a work function afterwards. So lots of driving today. Prediction for the sleep doctor: nothing changes and I get a follow up appointment in six months with vague talk of a sleep study at some time in the future.
We are doing this Hero WOD called Jerry today. I think that it is the most accessible of all of the hero WODS.
