Good morning and happy hump day! Very tired and feeling a bit too emotional and not enough 'just do it' in me. I didn't get up and work out today - again - this is 5 or 6 days of no workday workout. I don't want to completely abandon ship like I am known for... I want to complete my August challenge and stay feeling good and proud of my efforts. Staying consistent with exercise has always been a challenge for me. Not much going on today - looking to get organized and finish up some little things at work I've been putting off. Staying positive. Food is on point and I'm feeling good in that department.
QOTD -Free - I would take the vet being free! I spent $190 yesterday just on flea meds for our 3 littles - never mind all the appts, other meds, tests.... it never ends. Or free clothes - that would be awesome. Wait - does free Amazon count?
Accountability - awesome
b- coffee, HB eggs
l - chicken, feta, pecans, tomato, lettuce, garlic evoo and lemon
d-eggs and bacon
e- I blew it - today I will work on getting back to and stop making excuses.
Have a great day!

Good morning! Reporting back on the buttermilk chicken. It's very moist and very tender. I was concerned it would be too bland, so I crusted it with finely grated Parmesan cheese before I roasted it. The chicken itself is a bit bland, so I will definitely amp up the seasonings before roasting next time. I used a meat thermometer and I am glad I did. It took longer to get up to temp then the package suggested. I will definitely buy again and I can see using the breast part to make a great chicken salad or open faced sandwich in the future. It's that moist!

Amy-I hope you feel better emotionally and physically. It could be that a workout would help with some of those feelings since it can relieve tension, anxiety, increase your energy and release endorphins to make you feel better. Hang in there.

With being sick and travel and guests, I have gotten off track on the august challenge but I already went through and decided what days I will do it stating Saturday and there is still time to complete it! We can be each other's motivation (since magnet motivation was taken away from me, lol). I'm planning on resuming on Saturday!
